SPROTT MOLYBDENUM PARTICIPATION CORPORATION ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE MOLYBDENUM OXIDE

Sprott Molybdenum Participation Corp. entered into an agreement in April, 2007, with Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. to purchase molybdenum oxide containing 600,000 pounds of Mo at the then current market price of $28.40 (U.S.) per pound Mo. Shipment of the product will take place over the course of the corporation's fourth quarter.

Thompson Creek will assist the corporation in arranging for storage and will receive compensation for such service as outlined in the technical consulting agreement dated April 3, 2007.

@ petruss: es kommen bestimmt bald news, aber ich denke mal nicht heute. wär zwar schön, aber irgentwie fehlt mir da der glaube dran. ;)
ich denke mal das ist nur ein normaler rebound auf die übertreibung von eben als es innerhalb sekunden um 25 cent fiel.

hat für seinen fond 600k an physisches moly von TCM gekauft. und zwar nach einer vereinbarung von april ´07. deshalb der relativ geringe preis von 28,40 USD.

Die Finanzmärkte werden genau beobachten, wie Kanadas Notenbank am heutigen Dienstag ihre Zinsentscheidung begründet. Erwartet wird, dass der Leitzins bei 4,25 Prozent verbleibt. Analysten schließen aber nicht aus, dass die Bank of Canada Sorgen wegen der Inflationsrate äußert und auch das Wirtschaftswachstum thematisiert, das ihre Prognosen übertrifft. Beides könnte auf eine spätere Zinserhöhung hinweisen und dem kanadischen Dollar weiteren Auftrieb geben.

Bank of Canada keeps target for the overnight rate at 4 1/4 per cent
OTTAWA – The Bank of Canada today announced that it is maintaining its target for the overnight rate at 4 1/4 per cent. The operating band for the overnight rate is unchanged, and the Bank Rate remains at 4 1/2 per cent.

Information received since the April Monetary Policy Report (MPR) indicates that economic growth and inflation in Canada in the first part of this year have been stronger than the Bank was expecting. In April, both total CPI inflation, at 2.2 per cent, and core inflation, at 2.5 per cent, were above expectations. On the basis of available information, the Canadian economy is likely to have grown at an annual rate of about 3 1/2 per cent in the first quarter of this year - a full percentage point higher than was estimated in the MPR. The Bank now judges that there is somewhat greater excess demand in the economy than was thought to be the case in April. U.S. economic activity has come in largely as expected and continuing robust growth outside North America has maintained the global demand for, and high prices of, many commodities produced in Canada. Against this overall backdrop, the Canadian dollar has risen appreciably above the range assumed in the Bank's April projection.

On balance, the Bank judges that there is an increased risk that future inflation will persist above the 2 per cent inflation target and that some increase in the target for the overnight rate may be required in the near term to bring inflation back to the target.

An updated analysis of the Bank's outlook for growth and inflation, including economic and financial developments, trends, and risks, will be set out in the Monetary Policy Report Update, to be published on 12 July 2007.

Ist jetzt z.B. um 30% billiger zu haben,als noch vor ein paar Wochen.
Jetzt heißt es wirklich aufpassen,denn eine Korrektur der Märkte könnte jederzeit eingeläutet werden und als erfahrene Börsianer heißt das? Jawohl richtig geraten!!
Aufpassen,aufpassen und enge SL-Marken setzten.
Aber vieleicht ist es doch wieder nur ein "Sturm im Wasserglas"

so weit ich sehe, sind die meisten metalle/rohstoffe aber mehr oder weniger deutlich im plus! von platin, öl und aluminium mal abgesehen...

insbesondere blei, kupfer und nickel wären auf der gewinnerseite zu nennen...

@klaus aber du dachtest vermutlich eher an bestimmte aktien aus diesem sektor, oder?
