Ich habe vorgestern eine Email an die allgemeine Email Adresse von Nanoone geschrieben und sogar eine Antwort bekommen, die möchte ich euch nicht vorenthalten:
Meine Nachricht: "Dear Mr. Blondal, I am an investor from Germany and i am worried about my investment based on recent developments. Would you kindly give me a short feedback on how the purchase of many different battery manufacturers from China by Volkswagen will affect Nanoone? BYD is also launching the Han on the market, but there would be nano-technology installed, should there have been a message from you long ago? In some stock forums it is discussed that Tesla would also no longer play a role since they would use the 2-step process? You may find the time for a short reply to this message, I would be very grateful."
Antwort von einem Herren Paul Guedes:
"Hello Andreas,
Thank you for contacting us at Nano One directly as we always appreciate our investors getting their information directly. My name is Paul Guedes and I head up the Investor Relations and Communications for Nano One. There is lots of activity happening in the industry but there should be no panic as the industry has a long way to go and innovation will always be happening. I will answer your questions below.
Nano One is working with VW on improving the durability of high energy density cathode materials and we are all encouraged by the results. The evaluation and adoption of these materials in automotive batteries will take time and if successful will lead to licensing of our technology to those that make cathode materials for VW’s battery producers.
The Han is a 600km range LFP powered car and could disrupt the automotive battery supply chain and bring in massive additional demand for LFP cathode materials. As demand builds, inexpensive cathode plants will need to be built. Nano One has low cost methods and feedstocks for the fabrication of cathode materials and believes there is big opportunity to license its technology to BYD and their suppliers (like Pulead).
There is always lots of speculation about Tesla on internet forums but the fact is that for now, Tesla make their own battery packs and modules, BUT their supply of individual cells (and the materials that go into them) comes from other companies (Sumitomo (cathodes) > Panasonic (cells) > Tesla (battery modules, packs and cars). Don’t know what is meant by two-step process but they are open to many different technologies and are not restrictive in their pursuit of improvement.
These relationships take time to shape and we have had nothing but positive progress with our partners and all our other undisclosed strategics. I hope this answers some of your concerns and please feel free to reach out if you have more questions.
Regards,"
Sehr schwammige Antwort aber ein bisschen positiv stimmt sie mich schon auch. Was denkt ihr?
