Auf dem US-Arbeitsmarkt sieht es nach Angaben des US-Notenbankmitglieds Neel Kashkari noch viel verheerender aus als offiziell bekannt. Tatsächlich liege die Arbeitslosenquote aktuell bei 24 oder 25 Prozent und nicht bei den amtlich genannten 14,7 Prozent, sagte der Präsident des Fed-Ablegers in Minneapolis. Auch sei unklar, wann dort das Schlimmste überstanden sei. Das hänge davon ab, ob die vorübergehende Freistellung von Mitarbeitern in dauerhafte Kündigungen münden würden.

Die US-Regierung hatte Ende vergangener Woche erklärt, außerhalb der Landwirtschaft seien im Zuge der Virus-Krise im April 20,5 Millionen Jobs gestrichen worden. Die Arbeitslosenquote stieg von 4,4 auf 14,7 Prozent - den höchsten Stand seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Das Ministerium hatte aber auch erklärt, die tatsächliche Zahl der Arbeitslosen dürfte um 7,5 Millionen höher sein...

...Wenn im Land alle Kämmerer, Firmenbosse und Normalos nur noch darauf aus sind oder nicht mehr anders können, als die eigenen Ausgaben zu kürzen und sich selbst zu sanieren, indem sie das Geld vom anderen nehmen oder dort kappen - dann ist das nichts anderes als der beste Garant für ein wirkliches wirtschaftliches Desaster. Für eine Spirale nach unten nämlich, die sich über Monate hinweg zu verselbständigen droht. Und die bald aus ein paar Millionen Kurzarbeitern ein paar Millionen mehr Arbeitslose machen würde....
 

zur Insolvenzverschleppung zru Zeit durch die Aussetzung des Insolvenzrechtes. Das Gift des Mißtrauenes wird sich durch die Wirtschaft fressen. Dagegen ist dann auch dei Notenbank machtlos. Brüning ist auferstanden, der Regierung sei dank.

An den Börsen findet derzeit ein Kampf statt, der weit über das übliche Hin und Her von Optimisten und Pessimisten hinausgeht. Am Donnerstag vergangener Woche (14. Mai) war es wieder soweit. Um Punkt 16 Uhr mitteleuropäischer Zeit, als die Börsen in Europa und in USA über den Terminhandel schon einen schweren Abschwung hinter sich gebracht hatten, traten an den US-Märkten plötzlich mächtige Käufer auf. Unter hohen Umsätzen gelang es ihnen, den Dow Jones im wichtigen Kursbereich um 23.000 Punkten aus dem Stand zu drehen. Am Ende des Tages schafften sie es, den Markt von 22.790 auf 23.625 nach oben zu ziehen, ein Plus von 835 Punkten im Tagesverlauf.

Wer hinter den auffälligen Käufen an entscheidender Wegmarke stand, wird in amerikanischen Börsenforen nur vermutet: Konzertierte Stützungsaktionen, inspiriert von der Fed, die immer dann besonders massiv sind, wenn Dow und S&P aus allgemeiner Börsensicht gerade ein gefährliches Verkaufssignal geben und drohen, nach unten wegzubrechen. Offensichtlich, die Retter sind nicht nur sehr potent, sie kennen auch die professionellen Mechanismen der Börsen erstaunlich gut.

über Millionenverluste von Ölzockern gepostet. Nur das war vorgestern, Öl rennt weiter nach oben und die letzten Tage waren bei mir vom Mißerfolg gekrönt mal den Long-Longtimetrade für n paar Pips auszusetzen und ne kleine Korrektur zu Shorten.
Ich bin dann immer schnell wieder Long weil so gut wie kein Abwärtsdruck aufkam. Nächster Widerstand bei WTI sind die 30.
Den ersten große Abschwung der Indices hast du verpennt. Seinerzeit konnte man dich hier nicht lesen.
Jetzt ist die große Hoffnung ein längerer Bärenmarkt, weil ja die Fundamentals keine andere Möglichkeit lassen. Kann sein, muss aber nicht!
Was ist aus dem Antizykliker geworden, der der gleichen Meinung wie dem Großteil der Analysten ist?
Hoffentlich kein Contraindikator!  

Habe den Long rausgenommen und einen Kaufauftrag über das Hoch der letzten Stundenkerze gelegt.
Hoffentlich habe ich Glück und mach ein paar Pips gut!

President Donald Trump might very be disappointed with China these days, but it was Chinese data on Friday that helped accelerate U.S. crude oil’s run toward $30 per barrel.
West Texas Intermediate, the New York-traded benchmark for U.S. crude, was up $1.63, or nearly 6%, to $29.19 per barrel by 12:40 PM ET (16:40 GMT), after data showed China's industrial production rose 3.9% in April from a year ago, improving from a 1.1% fall in March.

Brent, the London-traded global benchmark for oil, rose $1.03, or 3.2%, to $32.16.

Guter Beitrag! Das ist auch meine Spekulation. Trump braucht im Wahljahr eine steigende Börse und er hat beste Verbindungen um diese zu bekommen! Strong Buy!  

verstanden. Der Wiwo-Artikel in # 242, den Slide auszugsweise gepostet hat, ist ziemlich bärisch, denn er besagt: Nur extreme Marktmanipulationen, vermutlich durch die Fed und ihre Wallstreet-Helfershelfer (PPT?), bewahren die US-Indizes mühsam vor dem Absturz, der wegen der saumäßigen Wirtschaftsdaten längst fällig gewesen wäre.

Dass solche Manipulationen nicht ewig gut gehen können, zeigt die Geschichte. Gegen den Lehman-Crash kam die Fed auch nicht an, obwohl sie damals alle Register gezogen hatte.
