I’ll do my best to answer your questions but I am happy to set up a call if I miss anything.
I was approached by Echelon (a good sized Canadian Investment bank) about putting some institutional money simultaneously into both MIS & ORX, and I agreed.
The fact is the two companies have generated more targets than they have funds available. And the optionality of having this cash readily available outweighed any dilutive effects. I am also a little concerned about the broader economy and its short term impacts on financing so I also thought it would be prudent to increase our insurance – and our odds for success as these funds will go into the ground.
I hope and expect to have Eric in again but that will be confirmed upon close.
Mistango has (round figures) about $4 million in our treasury.
Our core group has about six people who cover all aspects of legal, finance, marketing and of course exploration. We’ve bulked up recently for the drill programs but many of the employees are not necessarily full-time as we contract them for the purposes of these programs.
