Was diese Laser nicht können, ist auch 'in den Körper schauen', sie sind jedoch keine Nacktscanner, sondern zeigen auf einer Silhouette an, wenn etwas am Körper versteckt ist. Smiths-Group plc. hat in den vergangenen Jahren die Deutsche Heimann in die Gruppe integriert, welche den Körperdetector entwickelt.. Der Körperlaser soll Mitte 2010 fertig sein.
