Fourth Quarter Fiscal 2021 Results

- GAAP loss from operations for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021 was $51.6 million, including an impairment charge of $35.8 million for right-of-use and other lease related assets, compared to $64.4 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020
- Non-GAAP income from operations for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021 was $50.5 million, compared to $11.0 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020
- Operating cash flow for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021 was $36.7 million, compared to negative $9.4 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020

aber heute fett abwärts, nachdem nachbörslich am 10.3. die neuen Zahlen kamen.
Cloudera knicken um ca. 13-14% ein, nachdem die Geschäftszahlen die Erwartungen zwar
übertroffen haben, der Ausblick des Cloud-Experten die Schätzungen aber umsatz- und
gewinnseitig nicht erreichte.
Evtl. jetzt eine günstige Einstiegs-Chance.

Die Cloudera Data Plattform ist nun auch auf Google Cloud verfügbar.
Mit der Microsoft Partnerschaft und der damit einhergehenden Verfügbarkeit auf Microsoft Azure sind Wachstumsmöglichkeiten auf jeden Fall vorhanden.

Zudem wurde im April eine Partnerschaft mit NVIDIA vermeldet.

Closing of the deal is subject to customary closing conditions, including the approval of Cloudera shareholders and antitrust approval. The agreement includes a 30-day “go-shop” period expiring on July 1, 2021, which allows the Board and its advisors to actively initiate, solicit and consider alternative acquisition proposals from third parties – with an additional 10 days to negotiate a definitive agreement with qualifying parties. The Board will have the right to terminate the merger agreement to enter into a superior proposal subject to the terms and conditions of the merger agreement. There can be no assurance that this “go-shop” will result in a superior proposal, and Cloudera does not intend to disclose developments with respect to the solicitation process unless and until the Board receives an acquisition proposal that it determines is a superior proposal, or it otherwise determines such disclosure is required.
