While walking down the street one day, a Corrupt Senator was tragically hit by a car and died.

His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

"Welcome to heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in," says the Senator.

"Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from the higher ups. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend  eternity."

"Really? I've made up my mind. I want to be in  heaven," says the Senator.

"I'm sorry, but we have our rules."

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator  and he goes down, down, down to hell.

The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.

Everyone is very  happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people.

They played a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and the finest champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who is having a good time dancing and telling jokes.

They are all having such a good time that before the Senator realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises.

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens in heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him, "Now it's time to visit heaven."

So, 24 hours passed with the Senator joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

"Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity."

The  Senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: "Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell."

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and  he goes down, down, down to hell.

Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulders.

"I don't understand," stammers the Senator. "Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?"

The devil smiles at him and says, "Yesterday, we were campaigning. Today, you voted!"

With the elections coming up, please VOTE WISELY!!

Aktueller Hinweis

Im Hinblick auf die für Ende Juni/ Anfang Juli 2012 angesetzten Parlamentswahlen in Papua-Neuguinea wird in Port Moresby und anderen städtischen Zentren, besonders im Hochland, vermehrt mit größeren öffentlichen Kundgebungen auch gewalttätigen Auseinandersetzungen zu rechnen sein. Es wird geraten, sich von Menschenansammlungen fernzuhalten.

Commissioner Trawen said polling will still commence on 23rd June as well as the date for the return of election writs which is on or before 27th July, 2012 adding that polling period of 14 days and counting period of 21 days remain unchanged.

As Papua New Guinea is gearing up for elections next month, four women candidates have come forward in the autonomous region of Bougainville to contest seats against 65 men.

Magdeline Toroansi is vying for the Bougainville regional seat.

Rachael Konaka and Francesca Semoso are endorsed by the People Party for the North Bougainville seat.

Theresa Jaintong is the People Party candidate for the Central Bougainville seat.

Ms Jaintong, from Arawa, is a paramount chief of five clans.

The PNG parliament has had only one woman MP in its last term.

Efforts to set up 22 reserved seats for women in the next parliament have been unsuccessful.

THANK God it is over!
It all began almost 10 months to the day on August 2, 2011 when Peter O’Neill and his coalition partners removed Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare and his regime and took over the reins of Government.
Mr O’Neill was removed as Prime Minister on December 12 when the Supreme Court ruled his August 2 election by Parliament unconstitutional and repeated the same on May 21. What happened in the last 10 months – up until yesterday - is now history.
Let us hope the 10 months experience is not repeated. We can’t be too sure of not going through the same or similar experience in the future. But there is one thing we can be certain of: we can learn a lot about what we did and what we did not do in the last 10 months.
There is a message in what Kandep MP, THE Party leader and Treasurer Don Polye is telling us:
“There has been too many angry words said against one another, old friends fighting each other and that’s not good for Papua New Guinea. Some of these fights could not have been for the best interest of our people and the progress of our nation.
“Sometimes we spend too much time in the courts and we forget about our custom and traditional ways of solving disputes. I am looking forward for common sense to prevail; to our Melanesian Way of bringing this dispute to an end.”
We did not resort to our Melanesian Ways but nonetheless our leaders are hoping that yesterday’s election of Mr O’Neill has put an end to this very sad saga in our short history.
This is how Prime Minister O’Neill put it yesterday: “I think it is somewhat of a record in the world that I have been elected once and re-elected two times on the floor of Parliament and sworn in three times by the Governor-General.
“But let us not joke about ourselves. Let us go to the elections and let the people decide for themselves as to who will lead the country after the elections.”
Deputy Prime Minister Belden Namah also has a message to tell Papua New Guinea and the world:
“The most important thing to make out of all this is our democracy is well and truly alive, as we have demonstrated time and again on the floor of Parliament.
“I always believe in our democracy and parliament is where we elect the prime Minister, as we did today.
“I want to thank the people of Papua New Guinea for displaying themselves in a peaceful and calm manner. It shows that we are mature. Leave the politics to the politicians and continue on with your daily lives.
“I want to thank the international community for giving recognition to the Government. I know it’s been tough but I also believe there is some truth in our country being known as the Land of the Unexpected… and we can always rely on patience.
“We have demonstrated again that we have the numerical strength as a team to go to the election and we believe this coalition will come back and form the next Government in five or six weeks time. I hope and pray that the election of Peter O’Neill as Prime Minister will put everything to rest and the Judiciary must accept the fact that the only place to elect the Prime Minister is on the floor of Parliament, not in the court room.”

Die Verkaufsorders sind alle drin.
Kaufdruck, weil die Stücke nun nicht mehr verliehen werden können, löst es bisher gar nicht aus. Vielleicht sind das einfach viel zu wenig Stücke!?

ist seit Januar 2011 in Arbeit und die finalen Tests zur "Alltagstauglichkeit" laufen. In wenigen Wochen gibts dazu eine ausführliche "Bedienungsanleitung", wie es geht und welcher Dienstleister das gscheit hinbringt. So viel sei gesagt: Jeder! der rein will, kommt rein - diese Tests sind schon mehrfach positiv verlaufen und der Ablauf ist einfach.

also, wenn du allen hier Beteiligten einen unkomplizierten und direkten Weg, wie man die eigenen Stücke, direkt und ohne Umweg über dein Depot, ins Aktienregister eintragen lassen kann, aufzeigen kannst, dann wäre das ein super Meilenstein!

Wahrscheinlich sogar kursrelevant. Damit würde endgültig die Hypothese der Leerverkäufe bestätigt oder eben nicht bestätigt werden. Ich warte mit großer Spannung auf deine Bedienungsanleitung und würde sicher dann einer der jenigen sein, der sie anwendet.

wie schon gesagt, rein kommt jeder und es wird unkompliziert und direkt. Es werden Deine eigenen Stücke sein, direkt von Deinem Depot, direkt ins Aktienregister. Du wirst dann das volle Eigentum an Deinen Stücken haben. Als letztes wurden 100.000Stück eingetragen, der zugehörige Nominee war J.P. Morgan - das fand ich besonders bemerkenswert, da sich die jetzt offensichtlich auch nicht mehr unseren Belangen einziehen können.

THE 2012 National General Elections for Bougainville is paramount and important because the political leaders chosen will be the “front liners” for the region’s road to referendum and independence.
And all Bougainvilleans have been urged to vote wisely, look at leaders who have the heart for Bougainville and not those who will take the region for a ride.
Already, the Autonomous Bougainville Government is way behind with is “road to referendum”, the drawdown of powers have not been addressed at all in the last 10 months, the weapons disposal program, the capacity and its public service machinery, the mining aspect, the total road to recovery and many more issues are yet to be addressed by both the ABG and the National Government. This is also including the factions of Bougainville hardliners, the Noah-Musingku regime and the Me’ekamui team together with ABG.
There will be a total of 69 candidates who have nominated to contest the various seats in Bougainville. Their candidates come from strong political parties like the Melanesian Alliance, the National Alliance, THE Party, PNG Party, PNC Party, People’s Party, People’s United Assembly, Peoples Movement for Change Party, Social Democratic Party, United Resource Party.
