Net Profit
Based on the aforesaid reasons, the Group’s net profit
increased to RMB5,047.9 million in the first half of 2017 from
RMB4,420.3 million in the first half of 2016, representing a
year-on-year increase of 14.2%, mainly attributable to (i) the
increase in net profits of Beijing Benz and (ii) decrease in net
profits of Beijing Brand.
Net profit of Beijing Benz increased to RMB8,312.8 million in
the first half of 2017 from RMB4,021.9 million in the first half
of 2016, representing a year-on-year increase of 106.7%.
Net profit (including investment income) of Beijing Brand
decreased to RMB -3,264.9 million in the first half of 2017
from RMB398.4 million in the first half of 2016, representing
a year-on-year decrease of RMB3,663.3 million.
