Wind Power Project Update
FFBL has paid PKR235mn towards the equity of the two wind power projects (FWE I & II),
with the estimated cost of each plant at USD135mn. The projects have a 75:25 Debt to
Equity ratio with FFBL maintaining a 35% shareholding. The financial close of the projects
is expected in the current quarter pending the tariff determination by the AEDB. Management expects commercial production to commence in 2013.

LITTLE VALLEY — Cattaraugus County’s most expensive road project this summer may make a smooth road for what could be hundreds of truckloads of components for wind turbines.

County Road 30 — Chipmonk Road in the towns of Allegany and Carrollton — is slated by the county Public Works Department for a nearly $3 million reconstruction this summer. That is almost half of the county’s nearly $7 million road construction plan for 2012.

EverPower Wind Holdings Inc. is also eyeing Chipmonk Road as a route to haul wind turbine components from Interstate 86 and for hauling gravel, cement and other building materials. Trucks would also have to use South Nine Mile Road from I-86.

Members of the County Legislature’s Public Works Committee reviewed on Wednesday the summer road, bridge, culvert and facilities construction plans totaling nearly $12 million. USA: Town board approves 72.5MW Allegany wind farm in NY

The Allegany Town Board has approved EverPower's plan to build a 72.5MW wind farm in Allegany, New York. The wind farm plans were already approved by the Allegany Planning Board, but needed Town Board's rezoning approval in order to begin the construction.         Construction work is set to begin in Fall 2012.
The project will consist of 29 Nordex N100/ 2.5MW wind turbines.

scheint noch in einem recht frühen Stadium....aber zeigt doch wohl recht schön das grosse Interesse an der N117 (dazu siehe Forum)

... über den Artikel bin ich auch vor ner 1/2h gestolpert. Hatte auch erst angenommen, der Artikel sei aktuell, bis ich mir dann den Chart angesehen habe. Seltsam das den bisher noch keiner recherchiert hat in der ganzen Zeit seit dem 13.01. Ist einfach so aus dem nichts aufgetaucht.

Energien wie Wind + Sonne, denn auf die importe von Energien kann man sich nicht verlassen, das hat jetzt sicher auch die Merkel + co gemerkt.  hehe

sogar in ganz Europa wird nach dem Winter eine Debate los gehen über eine selbsversorgung von Energien, denn auf die Lieferranten kann man sich nicht mehr verlassen und das nötige Know-How ist vorhanden um Europa als Eigenversorger auszubauen

.... dieser Artikel ist nie eingestellt worden, weder in diesem noch in einem der anderen Treads. Und dann, ganz plötzlich, finden diesen Artikel mehrere Personen gleichzeitig im Internet. Und das bei der Recherchewut die hier einige, mich eingeschlossen, an den Tag legen.

Das finde ich schon sehr merkwürdig. Könnte doch seindas der Artikel erst gestern erstellt, und auf den 13.01. zurück datiert wurde.

Große Energiekonzerne haben sich bei der Errichtung von Windparks zurückgehalten, gelten jedoch als potenzielle Kunden mit reichlich Liquidität. Noch werden die Turbinenhersteller aber auf sie warten müssen, da die konventionellen Methoden der Stromerzeugung kurzfristig preisgünstiger werden. Durch den Einsatz der Fracking-Methode wird die Förderung tief liegender Lagerstätten von Erdgas und Erdöl in den USA wirtschaftlich. In der Folge steigt das Angebot, was Preissenkungen nach sich zieht.

Die sich verschärfenden Umweltgesetze und andere administrative Vorgaben werden einen Einstieg der Energiekonzerne in die Windenergie aber regelrecht erzwingen: Sie müssen künftig "grüne Quoten" bei der Stromerzeugung einhalten. Eine solche Pflicht existiert in 30 Bundesstaaten und die Bandbreite schwankt zwischen 7,5% in Florida und 40% auf Hawaii. Der landesweite Schnitt liegt bei 20%.

Die US-Windenergiebranche wird 2012 voraussichtlich 2,6% mehr umsetzen als die im Vorjahr erreichten 13,2 Mrd. US$. Die Anbieter von Anlagen, Komponenten und Dienstleistungen erwirtschafteten damit einen Gewinn von 1 Mrd. US$ nach Steuern. Insgesamt sind in den USA Windparks mit einer Gesamtleistung von 38 GW installiert. (Internetanschriften)

Die Windenergiebranche in den USA gilt als zukunftsträchtig. Zurzeit besteht sie aus 238 Unternehmen, die mehrheitlich Planungs- oder Wartungsdienstleistungen anbieten. Neugründungen sind an der Tagesordnung. Allerdings zeigen sich auch schon erste Anzeichen der Konsolidierung, wie Unternehmensaufkäufe und Fusionen.

Das Thema der Gespräche waren die Fragen der Zusammenarbeit im Energiebereich zwischen der EU und der Türkei.

Energie ist ein zentrales Thema in den Beziehungen zwischen der Türkei und der EU. In diesem Bereich können Sie mit konkreten Handlungen, die gegenseitigen Nutzen liefern - zum Beispiel die weitere Entwicklung der Türkei als Energie-Brücke und der potentiellen Energie Zentrum, ist es notwendig für die Entwicklung der Infrastruktur zwischen den beiden Märkten.

Die Kooperation beinhalten, unter anderem Sektor der erneuerbaren Energien - sowohl die Türkei und die EU haben ehrgeizige Ziele für erneuerbare Energien.
