Die Sondergenehmigung soll solange erhalten bleiben, bis der Notstand, den Trump am 13.3.20 ausgerufen hatte, wieder aufgehoben wird. Der US-Regierung liegt der Antrag jetzt zur Entscheidung vor.

The Treasury Department is seeking authority from Congress to temporarily backstop money markets amid intense strains in the financial sector—as part of a broader fiscal package to bolster the economy due to the new coronavirus pandemic.

In a memo outlining the administration’s proposal, Treasury said it is asking lawmakers to temporarily suspend restrictions on its Exchange Stabilization Fund so it can develop guarantee programs for the money-market mutual fund industry.

The program would last until the White House terminates the national state of emergency President Trump declared on March 13, 2020, according to the memo viewed by The Wall Street Journal.

"There is talk of “helicopter” cash and tax breaks, along with bailouts for the airline industry and small businesses. The proposed stimulus package reportedly totals over $1.2 trillion.
Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve announced additional monetary stimulus measures.
The Fed said it will begin to hold two daily repo operations instead of one. The New York Fed began running repo operations to stabilize overnight lending markets back in September, long before the coronavirus outbreak.

The central bank has also relaunched the so-called Commercial Paper Funding Facility (CPFF), a 2008 financial crisis program that allows companies to take out unsecured, short-term loans. In practice, the Federal Reserve will buy commercial paper directly from companies. The loans will have to be paid back within a year.  The US Treasury will provide $10 billion of credit protection to the central bank’s commercial paper operation.

To go along with the CPFF, the Fed announced a Primary Dealer Credit Facility offering overnight and term funding with maturities up to 90 days.

In simplest terms, it will allow over-leveraged companies to go into even deeper debt and those loans will be backed by the federal government. Peter called it a bank bailout 2.0.
In his podcast on Tuesday, Peter said he thinks the Fed has already committed to spending more money than it did in the entirety of the 2008 financial crisis.

ist jetzt schon so hoch, das kann man glaub ich einfach nicht mehr abfedern. Die ganzen Banken und Hedegfonds haben doch alle mit Krediten (Leverage-Effekt) ihre Rendite erhöht, in Zeiten des billigen Geldes und stetig steigenden Kursen und Dividenen. Die müssen jetzt alles verkaufen um Margin-Calls zu überstehen. Letztendlich kann der Staat da nicht direkt eingreifen, weil das wäre ein Armutszeugnis, da man aus der Finanzkrise anscheinend nichts gelernt hat.  

Sie tut jetzt alles, um zu verhindern, dass die Märkte die Zinsen steigen lassen auf einen klärenden Level...daher hat sie das QE geschaffen und sie müssen jetzt aufkaufen oder Geld leihen ,um die Zinsen vom Steigen abzuhalten...sagt Peter Schiff, womit er wohl recht hat

So get this: The big four US airlines – Delta, United, American, and Southwest – whose stocks are now getting crushed because they may run out of cash in a few months, would be the primary recipients of that $50 billion bailout, well, after they wasted, blew, and incinerated willfully and recklessly together $43.7 billion in cash on share buybacks since 2012 for the sole purpose of enriching the very shareholders that will now be bailed out by the taxpayer (buyback data via YCHARTS):

heute wurde in den Nachrichten gesagt, das Hotelgewerbe in USA verlangt noch mehr Milliarden an Unterstützung, es sei völlig zusammengebrochen...hunderttausende Jobs in Gefahr....

das kann doch überhaupt nicht gut gehen mit all diesen Finanzhilfen, die einfach gedruckt werden

Alles beginnt wieder normal zu werden, aber die Firmen gehören indirekt der FED und damit den Inhabern der FED.

Der DOW JONES Index ist innerhalb von nur einem Monat auf den Kurs zurückgefallen, den er bei Trumps Amtsantritt im November 2016 hatte.

Und dabei haben die Saudis/Russen offenbar noch gar nicht mit ihrer angekündigen Ölschwemme begonnen Das große Pumpen zum Töten der US-Fracker soll erst am 1. April losgehen.

Drucken, weil sonst gibt es Great Depression Reloaded. Das eigentlich lustige dabei ist, dass der Dollar gerade wie die Wutz steigt und demnächst eigentlich viel weniger Wert sein wird.
Aber so können die Amis am Ende des Downmove schön billig im Ausland Firmenbeteiligungen erwerben und lassen den Dollar wieder ein paar Jahre absaufen. Alleine die Währungsgewinne machen dann schon Rendite.

Bezweifel ich stark. Italien und Frankreich haben schon gesagt, dass sie einheimische Unternehmen schützen werden.

bereits den dritten abend sind die spanier um 8 uhr auf die balkone und haben sich gegenseitig applaudiert, wieder einen tag in selbstquarantäne überstanden zu haben. nur eine geste, aber trotzdem schön. ich war natürlich auch am applaudieren, den stolzen iberern.
