Silver Sun Provides Update on Zacatecas, Mexico Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Silver Sun Resource Corp. (“Silver Sun” or “the Company”) is pleased to provide an update on their Zacatecas, El Salvador and La Mina San Jose properties in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico, through their wholly owned subsidiary, Minera Plata del Sol, SA de CV.
“Having both the University of Zacatecas and the Ministry supporting our project, I believe, is a first for a Canadian public company and gives us greater assurance that our project may run efficiently with minimal risk to the Company and its shareholders” .The Company has formed a relationship the Autonomous University of Zacatecas (“UAZ”), in particular, Jose de Jesus Fernandez, a director of the Academic Unit of Earth Sciences at UAZ for the start of a pilot program for the implementation, execution and optimization of a precious metals extraction process of the Company’s mineralized stockpiles. The UAZ is conducting their own metallurgical testing in order to determine which process will give maximum recovery. With the support of the Ministry of Economic Development, Zacatecas, a local concentrating plant will be chosen to run a pilot test for 50 to 100 tonnes of the mineralized stockpiles.
