"Hello ADX fans
Many moons ago I spoke of my concerns regarding exploration and production in the offshore Tunisian oil and gas game. What I always said about ADX was that I would be in for Sidi Daher. Unfortunately I did not get the opportunity as my capital was place elsewhere.
I notice some of you want flow rate data on on the Guebiba field in the El Hajeb/Guebiba Concession. I may be able to assist with this.

Here is a document from One Petro about the Geubiba field development and the difficulties controlling the water cut and production from the Douleb and Bireno formations.
Here is the extract of most interest for some or all of you.
"Guebiba-3 is an oil producer that was drilled in October 2001 east of the central block of the Guebiba structure to test the Bireno formation. The well initially flowed 159 m3/d of 34 ºAPI, with 15% of water-cut and a GOR of 180 scf/bbl with presence of H2S.. Currently, the well is producing with a jet pumping artificial lift configuration. In this current state, the average flow rate has been estimated at 500 BOPD with a water cut of 50% and a GOR of 180 scf/bbl."
Initial flow rates were approximately 1,400 bopd (159 m3/d), which is what you could reasonably expect from production testing.
Controlling the water is key. Once that is done you can develop the licence and below is what could become a reality for ADX.
From ETAP website
El Hajeb & Guebiba fields
http://www.etap.com.tn/etap/product.html
Installation of an ESP on GUE 9 well instead of a jet pumping system is planned during the first quarter 2009.
These fields are currently producing around 6 000 BOPD.
Good Luck to All"
---------------------------------- Wie gesagt: Die Gegend betreffend und sehr nah dran wie es auch in Sidi ablaufen könnte. Und: "...Installation of an ESP on GUE 9 well instead of a jet pumping system is planned during the first quarter 2009. These fields are currently producing around 6 000 BOPD." so einiges ist da noch möglich. |
