Die Aktien von Nikola (NASDAQ: NKLA) fielen am Mittwochmorgen um fast 7 %, nachdem ein Analyst mehrere Gründe für den Kauf der Aktie genannt hatte. Ab 11:15 Uhr ET hielt die Aktie an einem Gewinn von 5,4 % fest.

Derzeit verkauft Nikola nur batterieelektrische Lkw. Das Unternehmen erwartet, in diesem Jahr zwischen 300 und 500 seiner batteriebetriebenen Tre-Sattelzugmaschinen zu verkaufen, da es die Produktion weiter hochfährt. Im zweiten Quartal wurden 50 Fahrzeuge produziert. Ein Analyst glaubt, dass das, was als nächstes kommt, der Grund für den Kauf von Nikola-Aktien ist. BTIG-Analyst Gregory Lewis stufte die Aktie von Hold auf Buy ein und sagte, dass die kommenden Wasserstoff-Brennstoffzellen-Elektrofahrzeuge (FCEVs) des Unternehmens die Aktie in die Höhe treiben könnten. Lewis glaubt, dass Aktien 12 US-Dollar wert sind, was einem Gewinn von etwa 140 % gegenüber dem Schlusskurs von 5,03 US-Dollar pro Aktie vom Dienstag entspricht.

Lewis glaubt, dass die Aktie durch die Verabschiedung des Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) nicht den Aufschwung erhalten hat, den sie verdient hätte, und jetzt sind die hohen Erdgaspreise ein weiterer Katalysator. Die IRA beinhaltet Subventionen für grünen Wasserstoff – der aus erneuerbaren Quellen hergestellt werden muss – die seine Kosten mit denen von Dieselkraftstoff in Einklang bringen. Das sollte die Nachfrage nach Nikola FCEV-Lastwagen in den USA unterstützen, und das ist nicht der einzige Markt, von dem Lewis glaubt, dass er für den Einsatz von Wasserstoff-Brennstoffzellen gerüstet ist.

In seiner von Barron's geteilten Forschungsnotiz schrieb Lewis: „Während Wasserstoff immer als langfristiger Nutznießer der laufenden Energiewende erwartet wurde, erwarten wir, dass Bedenken hinsichtlich der Energiesicherheit … und höherer Rohstoffpreise … dazu beitragen werden, voranzukommen breitere Einführung von Wasserstoff in Europa und Asien."

Nachdem die Aktien von Nikola im bisherigen Jahresverlauf um 46 % gefallen sind, nehmen die Anleger die Kommentare des Analysten zur Kenntnis und bieten die Aktien heute höher. Eine Investition in Nikola könnte von hier aus gut sein, aber es wird eine steigende Nachfrage sowohl nach batterie- als auch nach wasserstoffbetriebenen schweren Lkw erfordern.

E.ON and Nikola Corporation plan to combine advanced truck technology with service solutions and hydrogen infrastructure

The collaboration plans to establish a hydrogen supply and related infrastructure to meet the demands of customers in Europe and from the broader heavy-duty truck market

Agreement is expected to help reduce emissions from the European transport sector

PHOENIX – September 16, 2022 — E.ON and Nikola Corporation, combining their respective expertise to form a joint venture with a goal to decarbonize heavy-duty trucking. Nikola as a global leader in zero-emissions transportation and energy infrastructure solutions, and E.ON is one of Europe's largest operators of energy networks and energy infrastructure and a provider of innovative customer solutions. This partnership is expected to offer customers an integrated mobility solution to promote the use of hydrogen. Both parties have now signed a term sheet to underpin the collaboration and will be negotiating a definitive agreement to finalize the terms.

The joint venture intends to combine next-generation Class 8 semi-truck technology with support solutions (e.g., service and maintenance) and a green and sustainable hydrogen infrastructure. As a result, the partnership has the potential to transform the high-emission heavy-duty transport sector.

The vision of the joint venture is to promote the advantages that hydrogen offers at cost parity or better than diesel based on the total cost of ownership. The goal is to make hydrogen available nationwide at stationary and mobile refueling points to ensure unrestricted green mobility.

In heavy-duty transport, the use of green hydrogen, which has a high energy density, offers several advantages. A Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) has the potential to achieve longer range without significantly increasing weight. The Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) is another viable solution for trucks that need shorter distances and have predictable charging times. Nächste Woche Mittwoch Fed Sitzung denke nicht das wir da große Gewinne sehen werden sei froh wenn die 5 hält  

von der FED geworden. Volkswirtschaft ist halt nicht jedermanns Sache.  

Märkte kalt erwischt oder diese nicht doch Einiges vorweg genommen haben. Schließlich sind diese in den letzten Tagen schon auf Tauchstation gegangen.

Die FED wird neben der Inflation auch immer darauf achten, dass sie nicht große Teile der Altersvorsorge der Amerikaner zerstört.

Alles in allem kann es daher auch möglich sein, dass die Märkte am Mittwoch nach der FED-Entscheidung sogar fester tendieren...
