VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, May 19, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- Gold Finder Explorations Ltd. ("Gold Finder") (TSX VENTURE: GFN) announced today that it has completed its Phase 3 diamond drill program on the Golden Rose Property located 65 km northeast of Sudbury, Ontario.
Two diamond drill holes totalling 625 m have been completed testing a chargeability anomaly identified from a down hole induced polarization survey completed late last year by JVX Ltd.
Diamond drill hole GR11-43 is located 25 m south of GR10-42. It was drilled at an azimuth of 180 degrees and dip of -50 degrees. Diamond drill hole GR11-44 is located 20 m east of GR10-42 and was drilled at an azimuth of 180 degrees and dip of -50 degrees. GR10-42 was previously drilled at an azimuth of 180 degrees and dip of -50 degrees.
Results will be made available once they have been received and approved by GFN's technical staff.
Gold Finder is also pleased to announce that is has acquired through staking an additional strategic claim block consisting of 48 Ha. This claim block covers part of a separate iron formation that is exposed at surface and strikes onto the claims currently held by Gold Finder.
