Orad Hi-Tec Systems and Cinegy announce their digital graphic workflow solution for the broadcasting market. The solution will be showcased for the first time at IBC2007 (booth 9.510).
Orad Hi-Tec Systems Limited (Symbol: OHT), a world leading provider of virtual studios and on-air graphics systems and Cinegy, leading media asset management providers, have announced their comprehensive digital graphic workflow solution for the broadcasting market. The digital graphic workflow solution will be unveiled at IBC2007 (booth 9.510)
Orad and Cinegy´s new solution enables broadcasters to register graphic assets, including templates, rundowns, data sources, clips, and audio files, to a database to be shared by multiple users in different locations. The storage of the media remains at all times transparent to the final user. Users will also be able to associate metadata to specific assets and search the database according to the metadata.
By storing Orad’s graphics assets into Cinegy’s Media Asset Management system, the entire production workflow is substantially improved; a user rights management system is provided to effectively manage user permissions, authorization and access to assets stored in the database; access is provided to catalogued contents (video and audio clips, stills, documents, etc) using advanced search by metadata fields or by predefined filters; and relevant administration tools are included for DB maintenance, backup, upgrade, synchronization and cleanup.
The digital graphic workflow provides a global solution that seamlessly integrates graphics into the production workflow, including: ingest, storage, cataloguing, editing, rights management, news authoring, channel branding and on-air automation, thereby meeting all of the broadcaster´s asset management and graphics requirements.
This modular solution provides broadcasters of any size access to a customized workflow solution that meets their specific needs and improves their efficiency, and makes Orad’s advanced 3D real-time graphics easier to access and use than ever.
Mr. Avi Sharir, CEO and President of Orad: "This new solution will complement Orad´s Maestro HD/SD 3D Character Generator, and is one of Orad´s many solutions geared specifically at simplifying and enhancing the broadcasting production process."
"Cinegy’s IT-based, database-driven solutions enable Orad to offer a more efficient and cost-effective workflow. Cinegy is very excited to be working with Orad to provide complete collaborative workflows, for all aspects of the media lifecycle." says Daniella Weigner, CEO Cinegy.
The complete digital graphic workflow solution will be demonstrated at IBC2007 booth 9.510
