Hi Baggo,
I just checked and think you are right, management never CONFIRMED the 30.06. as a deadline, HOWEVER they implicitly did:
1. In the Q3 conf call the DB Analyst Schupp asked about that deadline "Are you working with the customer and at the same point in time tell him that, by 30 of June next year, we need an order or otherwise the project will be dying because I remember we have seen here before a few quarters ago, where you basically already said okay, this will be the last time we will be delayed and now it keeps on trying on?" And the CEO did not comment the date but just said "we have a viewpoint where we want to end it".
2. Clearly, Aixtron is aiming for an order in H1-20, as per the Q3 call "and we have a clear view that this is going to happen throughout the first half of 2020 and it's not going to be the opposite which is a -- let me call it dragging on forever."
Without having a source at hand now, I am pretty confident that they said, that the option is either they get an order, or they restructure the business, sell what can be sold (in terms of licenses, R&D etc) and save the 25m they invest in R&D p.a. - this is regarding DLG's question. At least to me they always said "we will not look for other customers, we dont have the time, money or resources to start this process all over again".
