Feststellungen aus dem NI 43-101 The Wingdam Gold Mines Inc. Project consists of 5 placer tenures recorded on Map Sheets 093H4 of the Cariboo Mining Division. Details are as follows: 5 contiguous placer claims, tenure number 264743 (500,000 sq. meters), tenure number 393756 (500,000 sq. meters), Tenure number 505154 (1,360,700 sq. meters), tenure number 512159 (2,914,900 sq. meters), and tenure number 538712 (194,300 sq. meters), totaling 5,469,900 square meters. The Wingdam Gold Mines Inc. property is located approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) east of Quesnel, in north central British Columbia's Cariboo Mining District. Quesnel is approximately 660 kilometers (410 miles) north east of the City of Vancouver and 100 kilometers (62 miles) south of Prince George. Access to the property is via highway 26 an all weather paved road which runs easterly from Quesnel to Wells. Highway 26 and Lightning Creek both pass length wise through the placer claims of this project, affording excellent all year around access. Past placer mining operations, on this area of Lightning Creek have recovered significant amounts of placer gold from pre-glacial and interglacial gravels deposited in a deeply incised westerly striking Tertiary paleo channel. Examination of the gold recovered from past operations on Lightning Creek shows that approximately 85 percent of the gold is somewhat darker reddish in color and exhibits well worn surfaces, the remainder is comprised of hackly, rough gold associated with quartz. |
