Nymox Reports Second Quarter 2005 Financial Results Monday August 15, 12:22 pm ET Product Sales Increased by 63% over Second Quarter 2004
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 15, 2005--Nymox Pharmaceutical Corporation (NASDAQ: NYMX - News) announced today its financial results for the second quarter of 2005. Nymox reported a net loss of $847,299, or $0.03 per share, for the quarter compared to $1,142,540, or $0.05 per share, for the same period in 2004, and $1,804,976, or $0.07 per share, for the six months ended June 30, 2005, compared to $2,106,322, or $0.09 per share, for the six months ended June 30, 2004. Product sales increased by 63% for the second quarter and 55% for the first six months of 2005 compared to the same periods in 2004. Product sales for the first six months of 2005 amounted to $218,314, compared to $141,254 for the same period in 2004. Nymox currently has $10.2 million in financing available from its most recent October 6, 2004 financing. The weighted, diluted average number of common shares at June 30, 2005 was 25,763,887, compared to 24,920,579 at June 30, 2004.
