The Esalen Institute, commonly called Esalen, is a non-profit American retreat center and intentional community in Big Sur, California, which focuses on humanistic alternative education.[2] The Institute played a key role in the Human Potential Movement beginning in the 1960s. Viel Neues (für mich)..
Sie sagten ´s ja schon mal, eigentlich findet in D.  kein großer kultureller+ wissensch. Fortschritt mehr statt, im Vergleich mit den z.B. USA. So ist´s wohl ..(wenn ich "Dummer Bauer" das sagen darf).
 

 

Vieles was in den US dann kulturell und erkenntnistheoretisch Furore machen konnte lässt sich auf aus Deutschland emigrierte Gedanken und Personen zurückverfolgen. Der Durchbruch kam dann mit dem Crossover zur Popkultur. Fritz Perls, der Stifter der Gestalttherapie, ist dafür ein Paradebeispiel.
