3. Can we expect the “demonstration project” in collabora-tion with Tasnee? We are currently evaluating a number of options for demonstra-tion product which includes choice of location, substrate and application. Tasnee is providing input in this decision-making process.
4. What is the current status of Dyesol’s own ambitions to produce ssDSC in Australia? Australia has a long and successful history in the manufacture of building materials such as steel and glass. Dyesol is in early stage discussions with Australian companies to evaluate the benefits of possible collaboration or joint venture in Australia. However, the recent decision by the Australian Commonwealth Government to withdraw from support for renewable technology development and commercialisation is disappointing and means that other international opportunities are looking more financially attractive. Dyesol has identified the UK, Korea, Saudi Arabia and Turkey as having excellent market characteristics.
6. Is Dyesol going to, or able to, produce in the company’s own facilities in Australia? Dyesol has significant materials manufacturing capacity in Aus-tralia. It is also capable of manufacturing glass based prototype solar panels as well. The next significant step on the pathway to mass manufacture is the establishment of a pilot line facility. Dyesol is currently evaluating a number of possibilities both in Australia and internationally for the establishment of a pilot line.
