Buy JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley Before Earnings, RBC Says
https://www.marketwatch.com/articles/...86?mod=barrons-on-marketwatch
analysts at RBC Capital Markets suggest buying JPMorgan Chase (ticker: JPM) and Morgan Stanley (MS) ahead of earnings, figuring that both will beat expectations. The analyst team notes that data from Dealogic suggests higher investment banking revenue than consensus estimates do, implying that the banks could surprise to the upside on that metric.
“We would be a buyer today of JPM and MS in anticipation of these two companies showing the best outperformance relative to expectations,” Gerard Cassidy, analyst at RBC Capital Markets, said in a note Monday....."

in June
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/13/...e-high-of-864-billion-in-june.html

The Treasury Department reported Monday that the deficit hit $864 billion last month, an amount of red ink that surpasses most annual deficits in the nation’s history and is above the previous monthly deficit record of $738 billion in April.
That amount was also tied to the trillions of dollars Congress has provided to cushion the impact of the widespread shutdowns that occurred in an effort to limit the spread of the viral pandemic.

In a volatile session, shares of Tesla fell into negative territory during afternoon trading on Monday, giving back a more than 14% jump from earlier in the session that had pushed the stock to a new all-time high.
The move into negative territory was brief, however, and around 2:45 p.m. ET the stock traded about 3% higher.

since three months as California orders rollback on eased coronavirus restrictions
In a press briefing scheduled in Sacramento after officials in LA and San Diego announced they wouldn't resume in-person school in the fall, California Gov Gavin Newsom just revealed that his state will roll back its reopening efforts to Phase 1, ordering all indoor Restaurants, wineries, movie theaters, family entertainment, zoos, museums and cardrooms.

Businesses will be closing indoor operations in more than 30 counties as the order takes effect in all parts of the state, with additional restrictions impacting certain hotspots. The end result will leave churches, salons, non-critical offices and most other businesses closed in parts of the state where 80% of California's 40 million people live."
