The petroleum trading subsidiary of Universal Property Development and Acquisition Corporation (OTCBB:UPDA) has signed the contract, made its initial deposit and scheduled the closing in 30 days for its acquisition of the former Silver Petroleum storage facility in Brownsville, Texas. The total purchase price of the facility is $1,000,000.00.

The storage facility to be acquired by UPDA presently consists of 4 tanks with a capacity of 12,000 barrels each. In addition, UPDA will acquire the rights to build 6 additional storage tanks on the 5 acres it is acquiring in the International Port of Brownsville. UPDA's facilities constitute approximately 25% of the developed portion of this port. The facilities are accessible by ship, train and truck.

"The acquisition of this facility and the commencement of trading operations will establish another stream of revenue for UPDA," reports Steven A. Barrera, UPDA Regional Manager for its Texas Operations. "It will also mitigate the risk of price fluctuations of our own production."

In addition to the condensate from PEMEX, UPDA will also be importing crude and refined product from various international sources.

UPDA Trading also recently met with officials of the US Customs Service and other customs brokers in order to gain approval of its importation of crude oil condensate produced by Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) (www.pemex.com).

A sample of the condensate to be imported was recently received from PEMEX and tested and the quality was confirmed and approved by both UPDA and the local refiners that will be the ultimate purchasers.

sie haben Ölfelder, sie haben Fördertürme, sie haben das Equipment, nun haben sie Lagertanks und ne handelplattform haben sie auch schon. Ist es nicht genau das, was ich von einem soliden Ölproduzenten erwarte???  

dass er unter wirtschaftlichen Gesichtspunkten Öl produziert. Es interessiert mich nicht, wieviele Tanks er hat, sondern wie schnell sie gefüllt werden.

UPDA muss Öl verkaufen und nicht immer nur Nachrichten verbreiten, die Möglichkeiten aufzeigen, wie etwas laufen könnte, dass eventuell so wäre, wenn alle Bedingungen denn erfüllt würden.

Das Ding hat Potential, keine Frage. Aber zurzeit ist es noch ein hochspekulativer Pennystock, an dem man tageweise richtig Freude haben kann. Allerdings... gehen mir langsam die TAN-Nummern aus ;-)

was heute so abgeht; denke, dass das Marktumfeld heute wieder freundlicher ist und der Ölpreis stabil bleibt. Nach dem gestrigen Ami-SK müssten wir heute irgendwo zwischen 14,8 und 15,5 cents rumgurken. Evt. kommen heute die news zum mexico-deal :)  

Keine grossen Umsätze und keine grossen Kurssprünge !! Wohl alle in Lauerstellung :) !!! Tja, wollen mal hoffen das die NEWS nicht mehr all zu lange auf sich warten lassen !!!

im Moment verkaufen die noch gar nix; aber wir warten jeden Tag auf die Nachricht, dass endlich Öl fließt... und dann gehts auf :)  

Natürlich haben die schon Öl verkauft. Sieht man ja ausführlich im Geschäftsbericht des letzten Jahres.

Spass beiseite, ich weiß wirklich nimmer, was ich davon halten soll: zum einen hat die Firma enormes Potential, zum anderen komm ich mir langsam etwas verarscht vor: gute Nachrichten, aber der Kurs fällt, weil wieder neue shares auf den Markt geschmissen werden. Ich hoffe jetzt auf die Förderzahlen und den Mexiko-Deal, ansonsten bin ich hier bald raus.

Ich bin neu hier und bin auch ziemlicher Anfänger was Aktien betrifft. Habe aber Online-Broker und auch ein bißchen Kohle, die ich gerne spekulieren würde (nicht verspekulieren ;-)
Ich habe einige Fragen an euch:
Was heißt die Abkürzung o.T. die hier ständig benutzt wird?
Wo ruft Ihr die aktuellen Börsenkurse ab.
Wo bekommt man gute Infos, welche Aktien man kaufen sollte.

Als Anfänger beginnst du nicht mit einer Zocker-Aktie wie dieser. Lass' dich niemals - wirklich niemals - von einer Diskussion in einem Forum anstecken. Wenn du deine Transaktionen ohne Anlage-Berater selbst duchführen willst, ohne Lehrgebühren zu zahlen, kommst du um eine eigene Recherche nicht herum.

Sehr oft wirst du in Foren wie diesem von gut gemeinten Einstiegstipps lesen, die WKN von vielen Aktien mit "riesigem Potential" werden dir nur so um die Ohren gehauen. Finger weg, sonst steigst du genau zu dem Zeitpunkt ein, zu dem die Aktie fallen wird.

Nimm dir die Zeit für die eigene Recherche! Fang' doch mal an mit einem Unternehmen, über das du sehr viele Info sammeln kannst - z. B. Gazprom. Ermittle Kennzahlen wie KGV, EBIT, Verschuldungsgrad etc. Wichtig ist nicht nur, wie viel Gewinn ein Unternehmen abwirft, sondern wie es am Markt bewertet ist. Bei dem derzeitigen Aktienboom gibt es nicht mehr viele Aktiengesellschaften, die unterbewertet sind. Gute deutsche Unternehmen wie SAP, RWE etc. sind in der Regel bereits sehr hoch bewertet. Ein Einstieg dort lohnt sich daher selten.

Was man aber vor allem braucht, ist Geduld.

UPDA ist ein - wie ich meine - sehr interessanter Wert. Einstiegskurse um oder unter 14 Cent könnten kurzfristigen Erfolg bewirken. Wenn aber eine Vielzahl weiterer Aktien auf den Markt geworfen werden, droht der Kurs noch weiter abzufallen. Daher ist Vorsicht angebracht. Diese Aktie ist zu diesem Zeitpunkt nichts für Anfänger!
