Nevada Copper Announces Further Ramp-Up Progress & Closing of Credit Facility Increase

Nevada Copper Corp. (TSX: NCU) (OTC:NEVDF) (“Nevada Copper” or the “Company’’) is very pleased to announce a steady increase in performance from the Pumpkin Hollow underground project (the “Underground Project”).

Performance Highlights

• Mine Hoisting. In December, the Company hoisted 36,000 tons of ore, an increase of over 60% from November.   During the first week of January 2021, electrical and instrumentation commissioning of the main hoist system was completed, allowing the main hoist to operate at the full production speed of 1,800 ft per minute, with hoisting rates in January targeted to increase by 200% – 300%.
• Recovery rates. In December, the average concentrate recovery was 86% including a number of days that reached above the Company’s target of 90%.
• Lateral development. Monthly lateral development for December increased to approximately 1,200 ft, which is an increase of over 37% from November. A significant increase is expected in January with the main shaft online.
• Geotechnical Stability. Geotechnical boundaries and properties of the East North orebody have been verified by the recent underground drilling and development drifting. As expected, the resulting geotechnical modeling has confirmed the stability of the East North ore body.
• Production. The Company expects to reach steady-state production of approximately 5,000tpd by mid-2021.

NEVADA COPPER – 25.000 TONNEN IN SPE

Für viele Marktteilnehmer hat das Projekt Nevada Copper schon fast einen Bart, denn man kennt den Titel schon seit 2007, als er mit etwa 1,50 EUR an die Börse ging. Just als die Finanzkrise begann, konnte sich der Kurs sogar auf 4,50 EUR verdreifachen. Dann schmierte allerdings der Kupferpreis ab und es wurde still um das Projekt in Nevada. Nun hat sich in den letzten Monaten einiges getan am Markt: Zum einen stieg die Kupfernachfrage aufgrund der vielen E-Mobilität-Projekte sprunghaft in die Höhe, zum anderen wurde in den letzten Jahren kaum mehr Minenkapazität geschaffen. Ein klassischer Angebotsmarkt, es besteht Übernachfrage und die wenigen Produzenten haben das Preisgefüge fest in der Hand.

Unter Inanspruchnahme eines Finanzierungspakets von der KfW IPEX-Bank und zahlungswilligen Altaktionären konnte Nevada Copper ausreichend Liquidität schaffen und ihr Projekt in der Wüste von Nevada nun in 2021 aufleben lassen. Gestartet wird mit einer Untergrundmine, die schon im ersten Quartal in die Produktion gehen wird. Dafür wurden soeben die Material-Transportsysteme installiert. Die gesamte Anlage steht in der Nähe der Hauptstadt Reno, wo auch Tesla, Google und Switch ihre Mobilitätsforschungen betreiben. Nevada ist seit zwei Jahrhunderten eine Bergbaustaat, die juristischen Voraussetzungen könnten nicht besser sein.

In einer zweiten Ausbaustufe wird man eine Tagebau-Mine („open pit“) auf den Weg bringen, hierzu sind aber noch einige Finanzierungsrunden geplant. Aktuell ist die Verschuldung noch ähnlich hoch wie die Marktkapitalisierung, man wird die ersten Cashflows aber konsequent nützen, um die Mine nach vorne zu bringen und das Fremdkapital parallel zu reduzieren. Die Aktie von Nevada Copper hat auf diese Meldungen bereits positiv reagiert und stieg in 6 Wochen von 0,09 auf 0,17 CAD. Wenn das Projekt so fortschreitet wie durch das Management dargestellt, wird der Kurs sicherlich bald ganz wo anders stehen – aktuell ist der Einstieg natürlich noch spekulativ.

Das Pumpkin Hollow-Projekt des Unternehmens im fortgeschrittenen Stadium in Nevada besteht aus einer vollständig genehmigten unterirdischen Kupfermine der Stufe 1 mit einer Kapazität von 6.500 Tonnen / Tag, die derzeit im Bau ist, und einem nahe gelegenen Kupferprojekt der Stufe 2 mit 70.000 Tonnen / Tag im Tagebau in der fortgeschrittenen Genehmigungsphase . Unter der Annahme einer Entwicklung als separate Minen beträgt die erwartete durchschnittliche Kupferproduktion in den ersten fünf Jahren 75 Millionen Pfund pro Jahr aus der unterirdischen Mine der Stufe 1 und 221 Millionen Pfund pro Jahr aus der Tagebaumine der Stufe 2. Die nachgewiesenen und wahrscheinlichen Reserven umfassen insgesamt 5,2 Milliarden Pfund. aus Kupfer; 989.000 Unzen Gold und 32,9 Millionen Unzen Silber.
Wieviel wurde bis jetzt gefördert? Wenn ich sage wir sind schon über 1/3 ist das Korrekt???

Das Unternehmen hat 230.000.000 Anteile, zu einem Preis von 0,165 USD pro Anteil  für einen Bruttoerlös von insgesamt rund 38 Mio. USD  ausgegeben.
dafür hat man 38Mio. Cash bekommen....
Die Frage ist zu welchem Preis wurde die PALA Privatplatzierung von 79.696.970 ausgeführt?

Wenn mein bestand  deutlich drunter 0,165$ ist, kann ich davon ausgehen, es sei vorerst für mich alles in Ordnung..?

Mal sehen wie es weitergeht,  wäre schön wenn wir 0,15 Euro erreichen würden. Wenn es mit dem Kupferpreis und dann vielleich noch gute Nachrichten von NCU gibt sollte dies erreichbar sein.

Nevada Copper Provides Underground Project Update; Releases 2020 Financials and MD&A​​​​​​

Operations Update

• Shaft commissioning and hoisting - Commissioning of the Main Shaft hoist is complete; the hoist now has the capacity to hoist material at 5,000 tons per day, as well as move people and equipment as required. The Company is currently in the process of completing the automation of the auxiliary hoist, however, this work is not critical for achieving steady-state production levels of 5,000 tons per day. The repurposing of the East North Ventilation Shaft is on-going and on schedule in support of the installation of the surface ventilation fans.
  
  
• Electrical upgrade - In order to enable the ramp-up of production at the Underground Project to 5,000 tons per day, the Company needed to upgrade and expand the electrical system underground. Last week, the Company completed significant electrical upgrades to provide sufficient electricity to power additional production equipment and ventilation in support of ramp up. Additions to the mobile production fleet were deployed in February as planned, with final pieces of equipment to follow on schedule in Q2 2021.
  
  
• Ventilation upgrade - The upgrading of the ventilation system of the Underground Project is progressing on schedule. Currently two additional fans are being installed underground with a further two additional underground fans expected to be installed in May 2021. Two large permanent surface fans have been ordered and are scheduled to be installed in Q3 2021, which will assist the Company in reaching a steady state production rate of 5,000 tons per day.
  
  
• Underground development and mining
  • Underground development and drilling are ongoing, establishing further access to ore zones and stope access with grades higher than expected in development drives. Grades over 5% have also been encountered in the stope development areas.
  • Ongoing definition drilling continues to support the Company's geotechnical model.
  • First stopes are anticipated to be extracted in the coming weeks, which will likely result in a grade increase from the developmental ore currently being processed.

wie dieser Titel läuft, wenn man sich den Kupfer-Chart ansieht. 2009 war ich bei 12,5 eingestiegen, aber leider viel zu früh wieder draußen. Es lief auf 4,30€! Bin gespannt wie es hier weiter geht...
