Neue Digitalkamera-Modelle haben dem japanischen Elektronikkonzern Olympus im abgelaufenen Quartal zu einem Gewinnsprung verholfen.

Das operative Ergebnis vervierfachte sich nahezu auf 14,7 Milliarden Yen (knapp 160 Millionen Franken). Die Kamera-Sparte sei endlich wieder in die Gewinnzone zurückgekehrt, teilte das Unternehmen am Montag mit.

Vor einem Jahr im Minus
Im Vorjahreszeitraum steckte der Bereich noch in den roten Zahlen. Die neuen Modelle seien bei den Kunden gut angekommen, was dem Unternehmen geholfen habe, sich vom Preisverfall auf dem Markt für Digitalkameras abzusetzen.

Gewinnziel bestätigt
Für das am 31. März endende Geschäftsjahr bekräftigte Olympus, den Betriebsgewinn um 17 Prozent auf 73 Milliarden Yen steigern zu wollen. Olympus ist der weltweit viertgrösste Hersteller von Digitalkameras und liefert sich einen Preiskampf mit den grösseren Konkurrenten Canon, Sony und Eastman Kodak. --sda/scc/mhb--

Montag haben die Amis zu,das könnte in Frankfurt interessant werden.  

kaum hat heute das neue Quartal begonnen,gibt es wieder News.
Hatte allerdings gehofft, daß es auch vorher noch weitere Abschlüsse gegeben hätte, dem
scheint nicht so zu sein. Ist doch wohl langwieriger als erwartet die Patentverletzer
zum Zahlen zu bringen.

defendants served their oppositions on August 28,29 and 30, 2006, respectively. TPL\'s Reply Brief is due five court days after service of the oppositions, resulting in due
dates of September 5 (Toshiba), 6 (NEC) and 7 (Matsushita), 2006, respectively. TPL intends to file a single consolidated reply brief and requests an extension of time of two days to reply to Toshiba\'s opposition and of one da y to reply to NEC\'s oppositions so that it may file its

solche Abschlüsse automatisch in das Quartal fallen, in dem sie veröffentlicht werden.
(Wer weiß schon was unter dem Vertrag für ein Datum steht - von den Unterzeichnern einmal abgesehen. Außerdem gibt es ja beim Gestallten von Quartalszahlen auch noch eine gewisse "künstlerische" Freiheit.) Der Zeitpunkt der Veröffentlichung ist trotzdem interessant, man will nicht die große Welle machen, so scheint es. Deshalb Freitag Abend vor einem langen Wochenende. Warum wohl? Aktienrückkaufprogramm? Ah, Bravo!

Ich bin auch sonst zufrieden, das Wirtschaftswachstum in den USA schwächt sich ab, Kapital kann wieder in den Aktienmarkt fließen, die Nasdaq steigt und für PTSC wird es sicher auch bald Investorengelder regnen. Purzeln jetzt noch die Rohstoffpreise und beginnt die USD-Aufwertung, dann gibt es wohl kein Halten mehr.

Ja, da hast Du recht, zZt. haben wir ja wirklich ein paar seltsame Gäste in unserem Board.
Aber wirst sehen, daß die ab Montag verschwunden, oder zumindest verstummt sind.

Außer melden kann mann ja nichts machen, scheinbar habt ihr die besseren MODS.

P.S. Bin auch Jungfrau und Geburtstagsgewinne zhätte ich auch gerne.  

wollte man wohl vermeiden, deshalb die Meldung nachbörslich am Freitag. Bei uns heute wird sich sowieso nicht so viel tun, alles schielt nach USA, dort heute kein Handel. Bis morgen ist alles wohl wieder relativiert und es wird sich nicht so viel bewegen, alles wartet auf Zahlen, wie gehabt.  

haben wir aus meiner Sicht klare Kaufkurse. Wer noch in PTSC will, hat die letzte Chance
so günstig einzusteigen. Aber so ist Börse, erst wenn die Aktie teuer ist, wollen alle rein. Aber selbst Schuld, wer seine Chancen nicht wahrnimmt.  

wenn es losgeht, rennen alle dem Kurs hinterher, wie beim letzten Mal.  

wenn wir heute wieder 15-20 cent zugelegt hätten,dann wäre morgen das zocken wieder losgegangen.

Je länger es auf diesem Niveau ruhig bleibt und wir immer weiter gen Oktober gehen, soll es mir recht sein.;-)

Das PTSC derzeit nur sogenannte first mover mit einem deutlichen Nachlaß als Lizenznehmer bekommt überrascht mich nicht.
Es geht bei diesem Thema einfach um zuviel Geld.
Erinnert Euch bitte an die Zahlung welche RIM leisten mußte. Mehr als 400 Mio$. Dabei ist RIM noch kein Industriegigant.
Was müßten dann eigentlich IBM, Siemens oder Samsung an PTSC zahlen? Das müßten dann Milliarden sein.
Also wartet alles auf das Urteil in Texas, da dort die benchmark
für PTSC gesetzt wird.
Danach werden wir, einen entsprechenden positiven Ausgang unterstellt, die richtigen Abschlüsse sehen. Und dann kommt Freude auf.
