We did not meet anyone per se from Plan Nord at PDAC though. I did though meet with the Chairman for Plan Nord, Robert Sauve, in January and that was a very good meeting indeed. Robert said very confidently that the Quebec government is going to build a third rail line from the port of Sept-iles all the way up to the Adriana Resources Lac Otelnuk project which is only 80 km's south of where we are. But I think that I told you this already.
However, I did speak to both Robert Patzelt, the President of New Millennium and Alan Palmiere the President of Adriana. Robert Patzelt said that we could use their road which goes currently from Schefferville north about 50 km's, and Alan said that he is on the Plan Nord rail study and he also said that it looks very good that the Quebec government is indeed going to build this third rail line up to his project.
If this happens that would be great. However, we at Commerce Resources do not really need the rail line, and for them to build the rail line the first thing they would build is the road on which to transport all of the rail building supplies. It is this road that we could make very good use of and of course the road would precede the rail line.
So, there may actually be some benefit from this. We will continue to watch. CG, IR. |
