MXV is a overall great stock. Your patience will be rewarded. I am quietly accumulating more stock at the dips. Below are my reasons for holding MXV (in no specific order):
1. MXV holds 8,000,000 shares of NFX for the JV Larder Project.
NFX is currently trading at $2.08/share. In November\'s NR NFX\'s price was under $0.30. At that time the warrants were worthless, but now that 8 milion shares are worth $14.5 million (that\'s already excluding the exercise costs). By spending only 6 million dollars over the course of 3 years (approx) they are entiltled to 60% of the interest on the Larder Lake Project. Not to mention that the project is covered by NFX\'s 8 million warrants with a positive cash flow of $8,500,000 (assuming NFX\'s shares stays at current levels). With gold prices at $600 and climbing the deal may be even sweeter.
2. Well Seasoned Management Team. They are all from well respected mining companies. All of them have 19+ years of experience. They are all out there to make money. We are simply utilizing their expertise to benefit us. No many know mining more than MXV\'s managment team.
3. Great Projects on the go with Majority Interest. The Larder Lake project looks promising. With the current PP we should see some drilling in the near future and some positive news to follow. The Hope Bay requires a lot more drilling to prove the potential. The Excelsior looks good. The site was drilling back in the 1870s and a moderate amount of gold was produced with 2 small mines. With our current technology we should be more efficient.
4. A Descent Amount of Insider Buying/Interest.
5. Low share float. There are only 46.5 million shares outstanding. That\'s only a market cap of $25.6 million (at a share price of $0.55).
6. $6+ million in cash flow.
Just the 8 million warrants alone is $14 million which equates to a share price of $0.30. A speculative company is typically at a market cap of $15-$100 million. MXV also has $6 million cash flow after the PP.
Acccording to my DD MXV\'s should be worth $0.92 at present values. MXV can be worth a lot more than $0.92 once we get some descent drill results. I will ask the company when to expect the next NR.
Good luck to all.
Long on MXV.

Kirkland Lake drills two more New South holes
2006-04-11 05:43 ET - News Release
Mr. Scott Koyich reports
KIRKLAND LAKE GOLD INC.: LATEST DRILLING ON NEW SOUTH ZONE RETURNS 1.49 OUNCES OVER 39 FEET; LOWER D ZONE RESULTS ADVANCE MINE PLANNING
Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. is releasing an update on exploration drilling to the south of the No. 3 shaft.
The company has completed two additional drill holes on the New South zone, as part of a continuing exploration campaign on a new discovery made in July, 2005, in which the initial two drill holes intersected 90.4 feet assaying 2.3 ounces (uncut) and 1.43 (uncut) ounces of gold per ton over 124.5 feet of core length (uncut). One additional hole has also been completed on the Lower D zone as part of a continuing program to expand the Lower D zone north of the existing reserve/resource block.
"The fact that we have intersected ore-grade mineralization on eight of the nine holes completed to date on the New South zone indicates the substantial ore potential of this completely new sulphide orebody," said Mike Sutton, chief geologist. "In addition, the strategic importance of the latest drill results on the Lower D zone will advance plans for a new drift from the 5,025 level to permit mining of the Lower D and No. 6 splay for the first time in the upcoming 12 months."

-------------------------------------------------- NP says gold juniors the place to be 2006-03-27 05:39 ET - In the News The National Post reports in its Saturday edition that Institutional Advisors chief investment strategist Bob Hoye has never shied away from taking contrarian positions. The Post\'s William Hanley writes that Mr. Hoye believes the price of gold will continue climbing for a year or more. He says: "Every post-bubble contraction has been accompanied by a long bull market for gold. ... History suggests the price could get to $1,000 (U.S.) in three or four years." Junior gold explorers is the place to be, says Mr. Hoye. "Think of the small-cap techs in 1994-95. That\'s where we are for gold exploration now. You\'ve got really good field talent at work. The understanding of gold deposits now, compared with 30 years ago, is like night and day. These guys really know what to look for, how to find it and how to go at it when you\'ve got it." One way the investor can go at it is to buy a basket of junior explorers, Mr. Hoye says. Which is what Mr. Hoye does. He says it important to have a basket of stocks. Some stocks will rise a little and some will rise a lot, he says. "If people can handle the lack of liquidity, they should be in a portfolio of exploration stocks or buying a gold fund."
