VALUATIONS not far from reality:
PAWTIZER:
consider 75Million dogs
http://www.aspca.org/about-us/faq/pet-statistics.aspxconsider 1% only of dogs would be getting they paws wiped
that's 750,000 dogs
consider a 100-count wipes lasts +/- 15days (a user will use twice a day say 3wipes)
that's about 375,000 100-count Pawtizer cans a month
or 375,000 /50,000 outlets (there's 250,000 total )
which is about 7,5 100-wipes cans a month / retailer outlet
anyway 375,000 cans x 12 x $3 profit margin=$13,500,000 profit a year
with just 1% of dogs "wiped"
Nutra bars: say 1% of dogs getting 1 bar every 2 days for instance= 12months x 30days/2 x 78M x 1% x $1=$140Million profit...
one can see the nutra bars "impact"...
2 products= $153,5Million profit - adm costs, renting, advertising, salaries, utilities
let's just take $53M "off" (ridiculous, way less than that), imagine 50staff at $30K A Year=$1.5Million in salaries (for the staff)
anyway take $100million in profit before taxes
take out 30%
remains $70Million
P/E of 10= $700Million of 700/465= PPs of $1.5
P/E of 20 (amazon is at lol 180 P/E)=20x70/4645= PPS of $3/share
P/E of 40 (growth company)= $6 a share
Purina with $2B in sales was paid $10B 10years ago...
