VW itself also showed positive development with +4.1%. Audi recorded a slight decline (–2.8%). Porsche reported a significant drop (–28.2%). Stellantis Registrations: 125,324 (–15.3%) Heavy losses at Opel (–23.3%), Fiat (–15.9%), and Citroën (–17.9%). Peugeot also remained below the previous year’s level (–4.2%). Stellantis is among the main losers in the current reporting period. BMW Group Registrations: 109,201 (+2.7%) BMW grew by +3.5%, while Mini declined slightly (–3.8%). Overall, a solid performance despite the shrinking market. Mercedes-Benz AG Registrations: 104,560 (–0.9%) Only a slight decline – Mercedes remains relatively stable compared to other premium manufacturers. Japanese Manufacturers Registrations: 78,837 (–12.1%) Almost all brands showed declining performance: Toyota Motor Corporation (–11.4%), Mazda (–14.2%), Nissan Motor Corporation (–34.6%). No positive momentum from Japan. South Korea Registrations: 63,523 (–10.0%) Hyundai Motor Company dropped by 6.7%, and Kia Europe declined even further (–15.6%). USA Registrations: 51,277 (–12.3%) Tesla suffered a sharp decline (–57.7%), while Ford posted solid growth of +5.7%. Renault Group Registrations: 50,265 (+5.6%) Renault achieved strong growth of +23.8%, while Dacia declined (–5.7%). Overall, a mixed picture. China Registrations: 46,879 (+4.2%) BYD EUROPE posted extraordinary growth of +489.2%, MG Roewe also showed strong gains (+11.3%). Volvo Group slightly down (–0.2%), but overall, Chinese brands continue their positive trajectory. |
