Es findet sich noch online eine FOIA-Abfrage von Fahmi Quadir (Safkhet Capital) vom Februar 2019
im FOIA CR Report vom 14.05.2020 auf Seite 5 unten. Ich bin noch nicht lange genug hier dabei, um es verlinken zu dürfen.
Es gab eine frühere Abfrage, diese wurde zufällig entdeckt, weil sie direkt über der Abfrage einer "Lisa Epstein" von "The Capital Forum" stand und es dazu bereits Kontakt mit einer weiteren Journalistin gab im Zusammenhang mit Beschwerden zu Prepaidkarten bei Blutplasma-Spendern. Es stellte sich nach Rücksprache bei den zuständigen amerikanischen Behörden heraus, dass Wirecard diese Beschwerden "geerbt" hat und sie sich überwiegend auf eine Zeit bezogen haben, als diese Prepaidkarten noch von Citi herausgegeben wurden.
Hier die Mail, in der der Name "Fahmi Quadir" genannt wurde gegenüber einem investigativ tätigen deutschen Analysten im Februar 2018. Man beachte die Erwähnung von Marc Cohodes und die Verwunderung über die mögliche Verbindung zwischen den beiden.
von Zeit zu Zeit überprüfe ich die Anfragen, die an US-Behörden gestellt werden im Zusammenhang mit Wirecard. Das sind FOIA-Anfragen (Freedom of Information Act, in Deutschland gibt es das "Informationsfreiheitsgesetz"). Im Januar 2018 wird von einer offenen Anfrage berichtet bezüglich Wirecard und Citibank. Spannend sind z.B. auch die Anfragen der ehemaligen Forbes-Journalistin Cxxx Jxxx (heute The Capital Forum) an die SEC nach allem, was Wirecard betrifft seit 2012. Das SEC antwortete, es gäbe keine Aufzeichnungen. Aber warum fragte sie nach? (...)
Sie scheint Wirecard in ihrer Anfrage zu haben, weil Wirecard Prepaidkarten im Zusammenhang mit Blutspenden anbietet. Dürfte also unbedeutend sein. Aber gut zu wissen, dass sich in den USA Leute für Wirecard interessieren... Dass ein Cohodes-Schützling mit seinem Namen und seinem Firmennamen nach Wirecard fragt, finde ich schon erstaunlich. Ich werde das von Zeit zu Zeit anschauen, ob man erfahren kann, worum es da geht. Die Anfrage hat die Kennung "FOIA-2018-00426" (die von Quadir. Ups, das ist eine Frau)
Nach längerem Zögern und weiteren Recherchen wurde im April 2018 eine Anfrage geschickt:
"Hi, being an observer of Wirecard for more than a decade I was completely excited when in 2016 Zatarra Research and Investigation (ZRI) published their reports. It seemed to be a heaven's gift that someone did so much research to blame them. But the reports stopped in May 2016 and Wirecard got away even stronger, white-washed from any allegations. From time to time I try to dive into the depth of the www to find people still interested in Wirecard. So I found your company in a list of "open FOIA requests" (FOIA Open Requests as of 1.26.2018). What is the reason for your request?"
Diese wurde nach mehreren Wochen sehr kurz beantwortet, sodass sich wegen erheblicher Zweifel an der Echtheit die Kontaktaufnahme weiter verzögerte.
"I think it may be worthwhile to share notes on Wirecard. Do you have time for a call sometime tomorrow or next week? "
Erst nach ausgiebigen Backgroundchecks kam es dann zu einem sehr intensiven inhaltlichen Austausch, über dessen genauen Inhalt keine Angaben gemacht werden können.
Als inoffizielle Vertreterin von "AskJig The Truth Company" werde ich hier keine weiteren unbegründeten ehrabschneidenden oder rufschädigenden Aussagen dulden. Begründete Kritik wird dagegen nicht nur geduldet, sondern als diskussionsförderndes Element sogar begrüßt. Allerdings ist unsererseits der Eindruck entstanden, dass von Ihrer Seite aufgrund der kompletten Abstinenz eigener Denkleistung nur zufällige Imulse zu erwarten sind, keine wirklichen Diskussionsbeiträge. Ein überzeugender Gegenbeweis würde auf großes Interesse unsererseits stoßen.
