What are Flow Through Shares?

Flow-Through shares are one of the few remaining tax-assisted investment vehicles available to investors in Canada. Since the introduction of the tax system in 1954, the Canadian government has been working on additional ways to encourage exploration and development in the resource sector. In the 1993 Federal budget, the government allowed certain investors to deduct exploration expense against income.

Flow-through shares do not exist to circumvent any tax rules or to take advantage of any loopholes in the Tax Act. These flow-through shares benefit from certain provisions within the Tax Act that were explicitly created by government, as mentioned above.

The flow-through share investment allows investors with higher marginal tax rates to reduce their income through the receipt of tax credits. However, the suitability of each investment must be considered in the context of the client's risk tolerance and investment objectives.


A flow-through share is simply a common share of an oil and gas company. The name "flow-through" is attached because the resource company enters into an agreement with the shareholder to ‘flow through’ to the shareholder the tax credits the resource company has created from exploration. These are tax deductions that are generated from the company's capital expenditure programs (CEE - Canadian Exploration Expense).

Typically, a flow-through share has the following characteristics:
•Up to 100% tax deductible;
•Typically, a flow-through share distribution is conducted as a private placement, which are only eligible for "accredited investors" and subject to re-sale restrictions for a period of at least four months;
•An agreement that covers the resource company's obligations to ensure the expenditures are made in accordance with the Canadian Income Tax Act.
 

Jetzt sind fast 14 Tage vergangen (08.01.15   21:39), seit dc2k beim Stand von CAD 0,21 einen zarten Aufwärtsimpuls identifiziert hat.

Leider ging's danach bis zu 30 % abwärts.
Hat er imho soo  nicht gemeint.
Unermüdlich durchforstet er das www nach links, die  seine These für das nächste  "up" stützen sollen, hingegen scheitert der Chart-Titan stets jämmerlich, wenn es an der Zeit wäre, die eigenen Fehlprognosen zu begründen.

Hat er sich hadernd in seine Chartistenklause verkrochen ?
Wann darf der verunsicherte CCE-Anleger auf die nächste, pralle Frucht vom immergrünn Baum seiner Erkenntnis hoffen ?
Obwohl: Seinem sisyphoshaften Handeln wohnt schon eine gewisse Tragik inne...

Bevor du dich ständig verschwurbelt über gewisse Kreise auslässt, thematisiere du lieber mal, warum du
a) mit deinen Prognosen allgemein
b) mit deinen Chart-Deutungen speziell regelmäßig daneben liegst und
b) warum.und trotzdem die Chuzpe besitzt, hier Skeptiker ständig anzupinkeln

Ongoing Management Initiatives

DLA–SM has completed various studies, analyses, and other actions as part of
its plan to ensure a source of supply for REEs in critical defense applications by
December 31, 2015. Specifically, DLA–SM is working independently or with
DASD(MIBP) to:
• develop a National Defense Stockpile Management Plan for all stockpile
reports, including the biennial requirements reports and other
congressional reports;
• develop, for FY 2014 implementation, a web‑based system9 to allow
users to visually map REE supply chains and identify “gaps” or other
issues with them;
• expand the RAMF–SM to include steps for assessing shortfall risks,
identifying and prioritizing mitigation options, and recommending REE
acquisitions; and
• contract with various academic, governmental, and industry
components to assess REE issues across entire supply chains, including
potential domestic sources, new processing technologies, and
geographically economical supply chains.  

Fragt sich nur, warum sich uncle Sam nicht engagiert.
Bei REE im allgemeinen und bei CCE im speziellen.

Betrachtet man nun die Grafik ganz unten auf der Seite, befindet sich CCE (3, 4) mitten in einem Haufen von Mitbewerbern.
