Columbia Announces Drill Program Update for Storie Property
West Vancouver, British Columbia – July 31, 2007 – Columbia Yukon Explorations Inc. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that as part of its 2007 drill program for the Company’s Storie Molybdenum Property located near the Town of Cassiar, B.C., the Company has now completed 20 drill holes on the Storie Property for a total of 5,600 metres. Additionally, a second drill has recently been mobilized to the Storie Property and is presently drilling. As well, the Company expects to have a third drill on the Storie Property by the first week of August. The Company is also negotiating to secure a fourth drill which could be on the Property by mid August.
Mr. John Kowalchuk, P. Geo., reports that the 2007 drill program is on schedule and that similar molybdenite mineralization is present to that encountered during the 2006 drilling program. The 2007 drilling program has extended the mineralized zone 125 metres east and the zone remains open. Upon arrival of the third drill, it is planned that two drills will then focus on infill drilling for the purpose of upgrading the current inferred resource to an NI 43-101 indicated resource. The Company expects to receive assay results from the first five drill holes shortly.
John Kowalchuk, P. Geo., has reviewed this release and is acting as the Company’s Qualified Person for this project.
