CUUCP is "a socially oriented Internet-based communication service that can be used by clients anywhere in the world to communicate with anyone in the world," according to ChitrChatr.
The platform is based on Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technologies, ChitrChatr said, and leverages data transmission and Internet services.
ChitrChatr also pointed out that CUUCP can be deployed in the cloud and provides users with several ways to communicate with one another, including:
Conference calls. Emails. Internet fax services. Texts. Video chats.
The alpha version of CUUCP is fully functional and scalable, ChitrChatr added, and can be used on Android, Linux, Mac OS X and Windows operating systems as well.
ChitrChatr said it is currently testing the alpha version of CUUCP and expects to conduct additional alpha testing within the next 30 days.
The demand for mobile UC solutions, meanwhile, is expected to increase soon.
MarketsandMarkets recently said it expects the mobile UC market's worth to increase from $5.15 billion in 2014 to $17.38 billion by 2019, which would represent a 27.5 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR).
The market research firm added that it expects North America to be the biggest market for mobile UC solutions, and the Europe and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions are expected to experience increased market traction over the next few years too. |
