Durch das Downgrade von CIBC Wrld Mkts from Strong Buy to Hold hat die Aktie nunmehr fast 50% verloren. Tja und jetzt heißt es wieder "Strong Buy". So geht das. Der Anleger weiß gar nicht mehr wo ihm der Kopf steht.

Übrigens liegen die durchschnittlichen Umsätze der letzten 10 Tage bei 400.000 Stück! Quelle Yahoo.

Am 27.12.2001 begann die Aufwärtsbewegung, an deren Fußpunkt wir fast wieder angekommen sind. Der Wert ist bei 2,25 USD stark überverkauft und kann zu einer technischen Reaktion starten, bei der man profitieren kann. Viel Glück, mein Limit steht. 1000 Stück zu 2,25 USD.

warum gerade bei 2,5 USD ist mir zwar schleierhaft. Dennoch möchte ich hier sagen, daß das Kauflimit nicht erreicht wurde und somit kein Trade zustandegekommen ist. Ich halte weder etwas davon, den Kursen hinterherzujagen, noch das Limit weiterhin aufrechtzuerhalten. Orckit werde ich nur noch einäugig weiter beobachten. Jedoch ist mir das Bild nun nicht mehr klar genug.
Hier scheint sich sowieso kaunm jemand für kleinere Nasdaq Werte zu interessieren, dabei kann man mit denen auch ordentlich Kohle machen, naja, nichts für ungut.

...nach vier tagen minus iss er endlich im plus, der orckit. das iss für mich auch eine verschnaufpause - eben nach unten. dein limit könnte erreicht werden in den kommenden zwei tagen - länger würde ich auch nich warten. wenn du erwartest hast, dAß der wert 5 tage am stück nur sinkt... hm, iss eher selten, oder? (ausgenommen absolute crashtage)

Das war wohl wirklich Künstlerpech. Mir auch völlig rätselhaft, warum die gerade da gedreht hat.

Trotzdem finde ich gerade die SmallCaps am interessantesten.

Irgendeiner meiner Watchlistwerte ist fast immer mit zweistelligen Gewinnen dabei.

ich war relativ sicher, daß die 2,25 (und etwas tiefer) kommen würden. Aber was ist schon sicher?
Orckit hat heute ein echtes Kaufsignal geliefert, aber die Gewinnspanne bleibt mir zu klein, das muß perfekt berechnet werden und sicher ist wie gesagt auch nichts. Ich bleibe dabei, ich habe längst interessanteres im Visier.

Die Gewinnwarnung vor zwei Wochen scheint zumindest gut verarbeitet zu sein. Meldung kam übrigens nach Handelsschluss.

Dr.: hochinteressant für einen kurzen trade, aber nur weil ich gerne japanisch esse, muß ich nicht gleich harakiri machen. ich wär da vorsichtig mit morgen reingehen, mir fehlt dafür noch was. gehe morgen lieber saba essen.

 

Transmeta ist auch ziemlich heiss, obwohl die Qurtalszahlen nicht so
berauschend waren. Wird der Crusoe doch noch geordert?

Transmeta shares rise on Microsoft design news

SAN FRANCISCO, May 6 (Reuters) - Shares of Transmeta Corp. (TMTA) rose sharply on Tuesday on news that the chipmaker was chosen by Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) as a reference design partner for next generation Smart Displays.

Transmeta shares rose 27 percent, or 29 cents, to $1.35 on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

Smart Displays are wireless, touch screen monitors that allow the use of Microsoft Windows XP-based personal computers from remote locations within a home or office.

Smart Displays are currently available from display and computer manufacturers, with more models scheduled for release later in 2003 and 2004, Transmeta said.

Santa Clara, California-based Transmeta designs microchips for electronic devices that need long battery life. It faces stiff competition from Intel Corp. (INTC) , the world's largest maker of semiconductors, which serve as the brains of computers.

Estrich, ich beobachte Deine Shares, die Du in den erten Wochen des Wettbewerbs hattest. Sag nicht, dass Aktien langweilig sind. Emagin ist ja auch Dein Baby gewesen, am Anfang des Jahres zu 0,65 oder so eingekauft, jetzt bei 1,60.

HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y., Nov 14, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- eMagin Corporation (EMA) , the leading developer of active matrix organic light emitting diode (OLED) microdisplays, reported its third quarter results today. For the three months ended September 30, 2003, the Company will report a loss of $(0.91) million, or $(0.02) per share as compared to a loss of $(2.75) million, or $(0.09) per share, in the third quarter of 2002.

Revenue for the third quarter ending September 30, 2003 was approximately $0.75 million, compared to $0.50 million in the third quarter of 2002, and $0.31 million in the second quarter of 2003. The Company's Gross Profit was $0.35 for the quarter ended September 2003. Due to the change in the Company's focus from research and development to production and sales, the Company's 2002 numbers were not reported on the same basis and so have no comparable gross profit figures.

During the third quarter ended September 30, 2003, the Company realized a gain from the early retirement of certain lease obligations that amounted to $2.75 million. This gain was offset, in part, by a $1.9 million non-cash charge for options that were granted to employees under the Employee Stock Option Plan in 2002. While the $2.75 million gain that was realized from the early retirement of certain lease obligations results in a significant improvement in the shareholders' equity, the non-cash charge for the options that were granted to employees under the Employee Stock Option Plan will have no net effect on the Company's shareholders' equity due to the fact that the amounts expensed in the income statement will be reflected in the Company's balance sheet as an increase in accumulated deficit and additional paid in capital. The shares relating to the options have been included in the Company's per share numbers since December 2002.

Commenting on the quarter's results, Gary Jones, president and chief executive officer of eMagin said, "I am extremely pleased that we can now begin to report numbers that are tangible indications of the progress we have made. Supplies ordered in the previous quarter were delivered in time for us to begin to show improved sales in this quarter. As we ended the quarter we had a backlog of over $1 million orders for immediate or near term delivery. We also expect to begin delivering product in the next quarter to some of our customers with whom we have longer term purchase agreements. In addition, our recent sales of subsystems have also begun to have a positive impact on our gross margins."

Mr. Jones continued, "I am also pleased with the progress that we can show on our balance sheet. With the retirement of the lease obligations, we have eliminated significant fixed costs and liabilities of the company outside of the convertible debt that was issued as part of the financing completed in April of this year. We believe that we are making good progress toward our stated goal of becoming EBITDA positive. Our short term cash position is sufficient for our immediate needs, and our receivables reflect our increasing sales."
