Rediff: Kaufgelegenheit nach Abwärtstrend?

REDIFF.COM - Sind das jetzt schon Kaufkurse?

Rückblick: Anfang September startete die Rediff.com Aktie eine steile Rally, welche in einer regelrechten Kursexplosion endete. Bis auf 6,25 $ schnellte der Kurs hinauf, womit sich der Wert der Aktie seit dem Julitief beinahe vervierfachen konnte.

Dann kam es zu deutlichen Gewinnmitnahmen, mit dem Rückfall unter 4,50 $ wurde die Aktie bis an die Unterstützung bei 3,42 $ abverkauft. An dieser Preismarke prallt sie aktuell nach oben hin ab.

Charttechnischer Ausblick: Hier bei 3,42 $ könnte die Abwärtskorrektur bereits enden, heute sehen wir potenzielle Kaufkurse. Prozyklisch werden erst ab 4,10 und weiterhin oberhalb von 4,75 $ zwei Kaufsignale aktiv, eine weitere Aufwärtswelle bis 6,25 und später ca. 10,00 - 11,00 $ werden dann möglich.

Kippt die Aktie hingegen per Tagesschluss unter 3,35 $ zurück, müsste ein weiterer Rücksetzer bis 2,85 - 3,05 $ eingeplant werden. Ein größeres Verkaufsignal entsteht erst unterhalb von 2,80 $.

 

Die nächsten Tage werden zeigen, ob der Abwärtstrend gebrochen wurde....

REDF ran yesterday on news producing a bullish engulfing candle. The last run from $3.00 – $6.25 has Wall Street taking a closer look.

Rediff’s shareholders unanimously approved all 3 resolutions presented for vote, including the resolution relating to the acquisition of Vubites. The acquisition is expected to be completed before December 10, 2010 and once completed will enable the Company to enter the Local TV-Ad market using internet technology.

Rediff.com Shares Plunged: What You Need to Know

Although we don't believe in timing the market or panicking over market movements, we do like to keep an eye on big changes -- just in case they're material to our investing thesis.

What: Shares of news aggregator Rediff.com (Nasdaq: REDF) plunged more than 10% in early trading today, before climbing back to a much smaller one-day dip.

So what: Don't cry for Rediff: Those shares are still up by 46% this week alone. Today's drop looks more like a bit of profit-taking than a wholesale rout.

Now what: Unlike many other media stocks that have soared this week on fast-and-loose buyout rumors, Rediff is largely doing its own thing. Shareholders approved a strategic acquisition last week that moves the company into local TV advertising deals it couldn't touch before. Share prices popped when that approval hit the news wires and have stayed high ever since.
