Surging Cleantech Growth in Canada-Three SDTC-Funded Companies on Deloittes Fast 50 List

OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/24/10 -- Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) today congratulated three of its portfolio companies on being named to Deloittes Fast 50153;, a prestigious technology awards program, which singles out Canadian companies posting the highest percentage of revenue growth over five years.
Arise Technologies Corporation, a Waterloo-based company producing in high-performance solar-based technology; Tantalus, a Burnaby, BC-based company specializing in smart-grid technologies; and Nexterra Systems Corp., hailing from Vancouver, a leading supplier of biomass gasification systems that generate clean, low cost renewable heat, power and synthetic gas from biomass fuels - are all companies who have received funding from SDTC as part of their commercialization process.
