bisschen Lesestoff...macht daraus ,was ihr wollt...
------------------------------------------------ Dear Mr.
We apologize your earlier emails were not responded to your satisfaction and are now responding to your original questions, which we have copied from your email dated June 7, 2016. We trust the following comments address your concerns.
Separate, we tried to schedule a trip to Germany on fairly short notice. We recognize the meeting dates were set up during the week, which was not by our choice. Our preference would have been to have a session on the weekend, which would have enabled more shareholders like yourself to attend (similar to what Rory and I undertook a few summers ago). We ended up postponing the trip given too small an attendance.
We plan to visit Germany sometime later in the summer , or perhaps early fall, where we can have a more fulsome discussion in person with you and others. Our German shareholders have been an important part of our journey here; we appreciate your continued interest in the business, your support, and your patience.
In the meantime, if you have further questions, please send them.
Thanks kindly and best regards Ken
QUESTIONS & RESPONSES
1. We still wait for the annual payments from the Prime Focus Deal. When can we expect them ? Does this deal still exist with its old conditions ?
We have received the first two royalty payments from Prime Focus as per the original agreement between Eight Solutions and Prime Focus. These agreements are available for your review on www.sedar.com, the repository for Canadian public company information.
While there have been no changes to the Prime Focus agreements, there were adjustments against the royalty receipts relating to the sale last year of our 3D services business to Prime Focus. Provision for these adjustments are outlined in the agreements.
The royalties that were received to date were received on time as scheduled. The Technology Support Agreement pertaining to the 3D technology license remains in place, and future royalty revenues from Prime Focus are anticipated to be received as they were originally documented.
2. We need an detailed overwiew of all revenues and expenses concerning your 3 business segments BIG DATA, RH and 3D. In addition, we want to know your forecasted cashposition to quarter 3/2016 and your sales forecast 2016.
As a company, we have taken the position of not publishing forward looking information, which has been consistent since our inception. Given the early stage nature of our business and our focus on technology development, it is very difficult to predict or forecast revenue. As a result, we do not believe it is prudent to be releasing future oriented information.
3. In the actual balance sheet there are no revenues concerning „Forestry“. You told us in the past, that you already generate this sales. What can you say us about this ?
Revenues are recorded in the statement of profit and loss, not the balance sheet.
Consistent with previous announcements, we have generated revenue in the forestry sector. Indeed, we have had positive feedback on releasing our product into the forestry sector. Revenue has been slower than originally anticipated, although there is great anticipation by several of the major forestry companies for our product and services, and we are working as quickly and diligently to get the product to a revenue stage.
Once achieved, the revenue model in the forestry sector should be a monthly recurring (SaaS) revenue format.
We continue to pursue sales in other sectors as well, primarily entertainment where we currently work with a major Hollywood studio and a large post production company and in transportation where we are expanding on an initial assignment with a large transportation company. There are other industry sectors as well, which all ultimately will operate on a SaaS revenue basis.
There have been no changes in our business model. ----------- 100 % food speculation free - Don`t let your money kill people ! Respect Africa ! |
