May 10, 2000 Stuttgart, Germany: Dialog Semiconductor today announced the acquisition of the 90.8% of the share of Svep Design Center AB that it doesn't already own - Svep is a Swedish Company focused on system design for advanced consumer electronics products in the wireless communication area. Svep's system design expertise has been used by blue-chip clients, such as Ericsson, to develop prototypes for a wide range of devices. Svep is participating in the next generation mobile handsets with advanced accessories and features. "By adding Svep's system design know-how, Dialog Semiconductor will be able to further leverage its leading time-to-market advantage for its customers. We will be able to identify system constraints earlier in the process and help our customers reduce their overall component cost while improving operating performance" says Roland Pudelko, CEO of Dialog Semiconductor. Both companies recognized the benefits of this transaction during their recent collaboration on products targeting MP3, Electronic Payment and the emerging Bluetooth market. Svep is based in Lund, Sweden and has 42 employees, of whom 37 are engineers. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

!!!! Ist für mich ein Wachstumsstarker Markt. Die Verfünfachung der Zahlen spricht für sich. Lycos hat auch ne Verdreifachung, aber mit welchem Werbeaufwand. Hoffentlich kann ich den patzer mal wieder wegmachen mit den Lycos Dingern. Naja sonst halte ich mal einfach - ist nicht so eilig !!!
Ich denke der Return on Investment und immer schnellere Produktlebenszyklen sprechen für den Wert Dialog in einem absoluten Wachstumsmarkt.
