entnommen aus einem UK-Forum ! i just thought i'd phone vog to see if i could extract any information, anyway the secratary answered the phone and informed me that the people who i needed to speak to were in meetings and she would get one to ring me back be it mr devine(the new general manager) or mr scott-barrett, i said i'd prefer mr scott-barrett and he duly obliged, 30 mins later he rang me back.
question 1, how is the progress on LA106 and is an rns imminent? answer, everything seems to be going to plan, but as you know i can't say too much because of the price sensitive subject, and yes an rns will be issued probably by the end of next week or early the week after.
question 2, how is the bank funding going are we any further on? answer, we are talking to a few banks and nothing can be finalised until LA106 has been drilled and tested, looking like the end of may when we will know more the banks want to see the results before any commitment is made.
question 3, any news on the exploitation license? answer, again nothing new to report the gov want to see the same results as the banks, on another note, what we all have to remember, why wouldn't the gov not want to issue an exploitation license, these major companies vog are going to be supplying gas to employ mostly local people and with cheaper power, expansion, more jobs and could attract other companies into doualla. as soon as tests are completed vog will be making the presentation to the cameroon gov.
question 3, are you a shareholder mr scott -barrett? answer, yes and have been since last year so i was a PI just like you, and just like you i wasn't very pleased at the way the market percieves vog, and the team at vog aim to turn that arround.
question 4, whats your average? answer, around 5.1p.
question 5, any news on the pipeline and processing plant? answer, we are still recieving quotes for the pipeline and the processing plant won't be all singing all dancing it will be of a basic design and could be added onto at a later date, we are looking to be in production by the end of the year and that is very realistic.
question 6, any news on west med? answer, we are all ready to go on the seismics and you will probably know everything depends on the weather, at the moment it is like one big marsh but as soon as it becomes favourable all systems will be go definately before may.
question 7, what do we expect to happen with west med? answer, we will look for a farm-in partner but only when the seismics have been studied and we can determine a direction to take.
question 8, i noticed you have worked with mr foo before, especially in kazakhstan is there any coincidence? answer, yes, me and kevin go back and seem to work well together, and the subject of kaz has come up and a determined effort will be made, it makes it alot easier if you know how the wheels of industry turn in kaz.
question 9, as you know vog has some very valuable equipment in kaz , what has happened to it? answer, alot of it is in storage and the rest is locked up on site, but it is very safe.
mr scott-barrett seems a very approachable and freindly man and in my view a good aquisition for vog but only time will tell.
and before anybody says, "we already knew that" i'm sorry for the repeat |
