Washington Mutual (WMI) has completed the chapter 11 restructuring process after its Seventh Amended Joint Plan of Affiliated Debtors Pursuant to the US Bankruptcy Code became effective.


The distribution of funds will commence with $7bn to parties-in-interest on account of their allowed claims and the distribution of substantially all of the stock in the reorganized company to equity holders.

The newly reorganized company will operate as WMI Holdings, which will consist primarily of a wholly owned subsidiary of WMI, WM Mortgage Reinsurance and will be funded by a $75m contribution from certain WMI creditors.

The primary business of WMI Holdings will be initially a legacy reinsurance business that is currently operated by WMMRC.

Access to a $125m senior credit facility will be provided for working capital and permitted acquisitions and originations in the financial services sector.

WMI Chairman of the Official Committee of Equity Security Holders and a member of the Board of Directors of WMI Holdings Michael Willingham said the equity holders of WMI will have the opportunity to benefit from an ownership interest in the reorganized company.

"The new Board of Directors will form a Corporate Strategy and Development Committee to begin exploring opportunities available to the Company to enhance the value of the reorganized Company's assets for the benefit of the company's new shareholders," Willingham added.

The Board of Directors of WMI Holdings will also include Diane Glossman, Mark Holliday, Gene Davis, Timothy Graham, Steve Scheiwe, and Michael Renoff.

Der mit den meisten Shares bucht die Location, würde sagen das P1 in München, mit dem Gewinn von Wamu kann diese Person auch locker das P1 kaufen. Dann kommen wir alle mit unseren Ferraris und Porsches, und WEHE einer kommt mit einem BMW, Audi oder Benz oder vergleichbaren Mist. Eintritt sind obligatorische 100.000$, Ja, DOLLAR, keine Euros.... schließlich werden wir ja in Dollar ausbezahlt :D Und dann gibts überall Nutten und Koks, jeder bringt was mit! Heizung brauchen wir nicht, wir verbrennen einfach das unzählige Geld, und dann..... dann ..... dann klingelt der Wecker, der Traum ist vorbei und jeder geht brav zur Arbeit :D

.....die Kurse nach unten gehen bei Wamu , Wamk und Wamp . Nur die Wahu
bleibt oben, da diese ja keine Releases erteilen müssen. Also werden die anderen, die nicht gesperrt sind verkauft, da sie ja schon wertlos sind ohne Releases. Wer es jetzt
noch nicht kapiert hat, der tut mir leid. Es gibt kein Feuerwerk mehr.

...Winner 2010 postet, dass die Balken krachen ...und wenn man die heutige Situation betrachtet fühlt er sich im Chor gemeinsam mit pb, VD, super-Pauli eigentlich sauwohl...

Da existieren aber noch zwei Sprichworte:

(1) ...es ist nicht aller Tage abend; und
(2) ...wer zuletzt lacht, lacht am Besten.

Man muss nur die Werte von GM oder Ford oder alle anderen Totgeglaubten ansehen, um das Potential abschätzen zu können. Von KMART mal ganz abgesehen.

Im Übrigen gibt es da noch eine weitere, schöne Aussage:
"Totgeglaubte leben länger!" oder "There's life in an old dog any more!"

Unsereins mag ja der Logik von Amis mit etwas Zurückhaltung gegenüberstehen,aber eines dürfte unbestritten sein: sie riechen förmlich, wo Geld herumliegt!

Glaubt nur einer, dass die TPC-Group innerhalb eines Tages zur Einsicht kam, die Releases letztlich doch zu geben, damit sie mit fliegenden Fahnen im selben Boot gemeinsam mit den Commons untergehen? Wer das glaubt, hat sicherlich heute ein breites Lächeln im Gesicht. Aber je länger das Gesicht wird, umso schmäler wird ihr Lächeln werden.

Zur Erinnerung: einen Tag bevor das Confirmation-Hearing angesetzt war, traf sich die TPC-Group bei G&S in Texas.

interessant ,wie der Kursverlauf von Pennystocks sich auf das Gemüt von Forenteilnehmern auswirkt ^^ Eigentlich müsste es im APPLE-Thread demnach ja lauter Gutgelaunte mit Frohsinn und Spass inne Backen geben.
