Dear Mr. Rink,
Thank you for your message.
There is this expectation for even more frequent press releases on the retail side, which in my personal opinion can become detrimental if the PR strays from covering material developments to merely providing an update. For example, the actual research on our collaboration with Ohio State University (OSU) kicked off a few days ago in early January. Exciting? Yes. Continued progress? Yes. Newsworthy? Probably not, as we just announced the OSU collaboration in December. The point is that we just announced this major collaborative project 30 days ago, so that was a very recent press release. In some months we have done 2-3 press releases. It all depends on where we are on the program flowcharts, so there are occasionally some slightly longer periods of time in the news cycle. When news is ready on major milestones or other such material developments in any of our programs (diagnostics, cancer vaccines, viral vaccines) we will absolutely share the news. But the completion/status of development tasks, while very important for progress, are not necessarily newsworthy.
I hope this helps answer your question.
Best regards,
Ken
