PETE MAGGI - PRODUCER
Pete is producing "Beyond Words" under his new US company, Essence Entertainment. This is the first title for this company. In Europe Pete works out of his company Blue Star Movies.
Since founding Blue Star Movies in London in 1999, Pete Maggi has co-produced and executive produced a number of independent productions with budgets ranging from $US 3 to 20 millions.
Prior to starting Blue Star Movies Pete Maggi was a founding partner of Eagle Pictures s.p.a., one of Italy’s biggest and most successful distribution companies. His career has also spanned television production and distribution, the management and production of events for TV and the management of video on demand rights for hotel groups.
The Blue Star Movies Story so far…
Since Blue Star Movies (BSM) was founded by Chairman, Pete Maggi (ex President of Eagle Pictures spa, Italy’s leading Film and TV Distribution independent) in 1999 in Rome, the company has successfully worked with many well-known co-producers and financiers as well as with new and established writing, directing and acting talent. As a result, Blue Star Movies has established itself as a successful European and international film production, finance business with offices in London and Rome. Blue Star Movies has also successfully acted as international and Italian sales agent for a number of selected productions.
To date Blue Star Movies credits for executive production, production, finance and sales include, Michael Radford’s ‘The Merchant Of Venice’ (Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Joseph Fiennes), John Duigan’s ‘Head In The Clouds’ (Charlize Theron, Penelope Cruz and Stewart Townsend), ‘Evilenko’ (Malcolm MacDowell), ‘Piazza of The Five Moons’ (Donald Sutherland) and “Irresistible” (Susan Sarandon, Sam Neill and Emily Blunt). Other Blue Star Movies credits include, ‘Mother Theresa’ starring Olivia Hussey, ‘Hermano’ a European art-house movie and ‘Making Waves’ a British low-budget HD romantic comedy.

@ mod, es ist mir unverständlich wieso die Vita einer im öffentlichen Lebens stehenden Person, welche mit einem einfachen Mausklick an zig Stellen im Internet abgerufen werden kann, wegen fehlender Quellenangabe gelöscht wird, ebenso ist mir unverständlich wieso grundsätzlich beim leisesten Zweifel positive Äusserungen gelöscht werden, negative jedoch in der Regel unangetastet bleiben....im Sinne Ihres eigenen Forums/unternehmens bitte ich um Aufklärung
