Universal Express's MadPackers Hits The Beaches of Texas

Business Editors

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 14, 2006--
Universal Express Inc. (OTCBB: USXP), MadPackers at the
invitation of numerous Fortune 500 Companies has begun presenting its
unique college delivery service directly at College Spring Break 2006.
MadPackers is an extension of the Luggage Express model, but
focuses primarily on college and high school students. Its goal is to
become the premier "door to dorm" shipping solution for all students'
needs. From sending items to school their first year and home again,
to storing their items during winter and summer breaks, to sending
their college belongings to study abroad and home again; MadPackers is
the first and only full service college centered/student shipping
company.
"MadPacker t-shirts, shorts, Frisbees, and Koozies have been given
out to thousands of college students from over 100 colleges and
untabulated high school seniors. In addition, there have been
synergistic programs and even I-pod giveaways. SanDisk, National
Lampoon and multiple Fortune 500 companies, like Energizer, and Coca
Cola are meeting with MadPacker Executives for on-going and future
programs," said Chris Wilkie, MadPackers Executive.
"By being positioned on the beach for hundreds of thousands of our
target market students to learn about us, as we create brand awareness
and even conduct feedback and feasibility studies, our shipping
service couldn't be any more well received," said Michael Martinez,
MadPackers Executive.
"Being on the sunny beaches of South Padre, Texas for a week and
also penetrating South Florida beaches makes our visually targeted
give-away products and image even more well targeted and accepted by
the students. Viewing of these promotional items can be seen at
www.madpackers.com/springbreak.htm, said Tim Terjesen, MadPackers
Executive.
"It's rewarding to see the branding and development of the
MadPacker's concepts as well as MadPackers electronic presence mature
simultaneously for this untapped multi-billion dollar shipping
market," concluded Mr. Brian Altomare, MadPackers President.

Coalition for Luggage Security Notes Computers in Luggage Will Help Lost Luggage Problem

Business Editors / Travel Writers

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2006--
The Coalition for Luggage Security today commented on
the article published on CNN that RFID, radio frequency
identification, is being experimented with at several airports around
the world with promising early results.
"The airports are reporting that the successful reading of the
RFID computer-like chips is 99.5%. The draw back is the cost of the
chip for a one time use and the costs of the tracing devices. Over
time, we hope their cost would come down, The Coalition is working on
building the chip into the luggage itself for repeated use, making the
cost negligible," said Harvey Abelson, Coalition Director.
Richard A. Altomare, Founder and President of the Coalition for
Luggage Security and CEO of Universal Express, Inc. (OTCBB:USXP) added
"The Coalition believes that RFID will play a role in shipping
luggage. Lost and unsecured, unidentified, ownerless luggage could
become a thing of the past. Luggage Express of Universal Express
already has begun utilizing these chips."
"The technology itself will not create safer flying conditions. We
do believe though that technology 'plus' a system of handling luggage
as cargo and separating it from the passengers will result in a safer
system (http://www.usxp.com/securitywp.pdf). Airlines will find
airfares can decrease and positively benefit passengers with saved
time, increased security, and convenience. Furthermore, these measures
would create savings for taxpayers and travelers due to the decreased
governmental and airline security expenses," concluded Mr. Altomare.

About The Coalition for Luggage Security

The Coalition for Luggage Security was established to ensure the
safety of travelers through alternate means of luggage transportation.
The Coalition consists of prominent businesspersons and companies that
educate the public, Congress and the Administration on the importance
of solving the luggage and cargo safety issues that exist in airlines
and airports.

Universal Express Offers to Pay Extra Charges on Aisle Seats

Business Editors / Transportation Writers

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2006--
Universal Express Inc. (OTCBB: USXP) says, according to
an article published on CNN Tuesday, March 14, Northwest Airline's
will begin charging an extra $15 for seats that have extra leg room,
exit-row or aisle seats near the front of the cabin.
html) (Due to its length, this URL may need to be copied/pasted into
your Internet browser's address field. Remove the extra space if one
exists.)
"Universal Express' Luggage Express offers to pay the extra charge
for the extra leg room seats of anyone who uses Luggage Express, flies
on the charging airline, and can reserve seats on that flight," said
Richard Altomare, CEO and Chairman of Universal Express, Inc.
Mr. Altomare continued, "Airlines definitely have called out for
help. In an effort to make up for their huge losses, the airlines are
charging for or eliminating a whole slew of once free services. This
trend is predicted to continue with the charging for checked-in
baggage which has already been implemented by European discount
airlines."
"Luggage Express has the answer. Luggage Express picks up and
delivers luggage from the home or office of the traveler and delivers
it to their destination. Airlines working with Luggage Express have
the opportunity to offer a new and profitable service. The airlines
can produce new revenue and reduce expenses if they offer this service
to their clients. Airlines would have the ability and added benefit to
use their baggage handling resources more efficiently, which would
result in the quicker loading of aircraft and an increase in airline
profitability," concluded Mr. Altomare.

The Coalition For Luggage Security Comments On Revamping Airport Security

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 2006--

The Coalition for Luggage Security today commented on an article published in "The Hill" newspaper by Representatives Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) and Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) taking issue with Congress' tendency to turnover the screening at airports to private industry companies. They claim that this would bring us back to the bad old days of pre-9/11 security.

d.html) (Due to its length, this URL may need to be copied/pasted into your Internet browser's address field. Remove the extra space if one exists.)

Harvey Abelson, Coalition Director said, "The Coalition does not see any difference between today and the old days. In the old days The Federal Aviation Administration had created an environment which seemed to offer screeners low pay and very high turnover rate. Today we have the Transportation Security Administration providing the rules and the screening agents in a low morale environment with high turnover. The big difference is that rules are tighter, such as checking the length of a pair of scissors or confiscating nail clippers."

"The real problem is the method of security. We are using the same 'perimeter defense' that we used in the bad old days. What we need is a new way of looking at security (http://www.usxp.com/securitywp.pdf). We need a security system that will help us reclaim our airports and provide travelers, airlines and the government with economic benefits. The Coalition is looking forward to participating in conversations with individual Congresspersons and playing a role in the debate on airport, airline and luggage security in the upcoming Commerce Committee hearings," concluded Richard A. Altomare, Founder and Chairman of the Coalition for Luggage Security and CEO of Universal Express, Inc. (OTCBB:USXP.)
