Bei freundlicher Nasdaq sind m.E. die "alten" Höchststände von 27$ schnell wieder erreicht. Ich will hier ja nicht substanzlos rumpushen, aber IBeam hat alle Chancen ein ECHTER Highflyer zu werden.

SPEEDUS.COM and iBEAM Broadcasting Team Up to Deliver Streaming Media
NEW YORK, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- SPEEDUS.COM, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPDE) today announced it has signed an agreement with iBEAM Broadcasting Corporation(R) (Nasdaq: IBEM), a leading Internet Broadcast Network provider, to deliver high-fidelity streaming audio and video.
Under the terms of the agreement, iBEAM will deploy its MaxCaster(TM) media serving system into SPEEDUS.COM's Network Operations Center (NOC), enabling SPEEDUS.COM to deliver high-fidelity streaming media to its end-users. SPEEDUS.COM will utilize its teleport downlink facility to deliver streaming content directly to the Company's Broadband Site that is currently under development. By deploying the iBEAM solution, SPEEDUS.COM enables users to receive content directly from SPEEDUS.COM, bypassing the congestion that can occur when content travels across the Internet backbone.
The SPEEDUS.COM Broadband Site is being designed for Internet users with a broadband connection wishing to view or listen to entertaining broadband content that takes advantage of their high-speed connection. The Company has been streaming live and pre-recorded expedition coverage of the SPEEDUS.COM sponsored Mount McKinley Expedition Team over the Internet from its Broadband Beta Site, available through a link on the SPEED411(SM) Portal at http://www.speedus.com.
The expedition tested cutting edge wireless satellite streaming technology to transmit video back to the SPEEDUS.COM NOC in Brooklyn, New York. Archived copies of all prior transmissions are also available at the site. Both high-speed and other Internet users can access the site but high-speed users have had a dramatically better viewing experience. About SPEEDUS.COM
SPEEDUS.COM is an emerging facilities-based broadband and wireless super high-speed Internet company. The Company has launched its SPEED411(SM) Portal to promote broadband high-speed Internet access on a nationwide basis. The Company's NOC in the Brooklyn Army Terminal contains a data center with a Linux-based Internet gateway transmitter and a teleport facility with satellite down links and fiber optic backbone. SPEEDUS.COM also provides standard direct dial-up and ISDN service, as well as web hosting and e-mail.
Currently, the company is conducting a limited pilot program of its SPEED(SM) broadband Super High-Speed Internet service. SPEED is delivered via 14 Internet Broadcast Stations operating under the Company's FCC license covering Metro New York. The Internet broadcast signal is currently not available at all locations in the license area. A full marketing effort will not commence until new LMDS equipment becomes commercially available with cost and performance that allow implementation of SPEED service on an economically attractive basis.
In September 1999, the Company announced its equity investment in SPEEDIA, LLC, (http://www.speedia.com), a mobile Web to wireless information and e-commerce service company. SPEEDUS.COM also explores additional incubation opportunities in Internet and e-commerce companies. SPEEDUS.COM's NOC is a high-tech facility that can host new, cost-conscious Internet startups that need Internet backbone connectivity and quick ramp-up capabilities.
