West Red Lake Gold Closes First Tranche of Flow-Through Private Placement
Toronto, Ontario CANADA, October 12, 2012 /FSC/ - West Red Lake Gold Mines Inc. (RLG - CNSX),(the "Company") is pleased to announce the closing, on October 5, 2012, of the first tranche of a non-brokered flow-through private placement. The closing included subscriptions totalling 2,000,000 Units of the Company at $0.15 per Unit for gross proceeds of $300,000.
Each Unit consists of one flow-through common share and one half share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional non-flow-through common share of the Company at a price of $0.20 per common share. Each warrant has a term of 18 months from the date of closing.
It is anticipated that the final tranche of the flow-through private placement of up to 10,000,000 Units, for gross proceeds of $1,500,000, will close on October 26, 2012.
Proceeds of the financing will be used for the continued exploration and development of the Company's Mount Jamie Mine, Rowan Lake Mine and Red Summit Mine properties in the Red Lake Gold Camp.
