Osprey Gold Corp. Announces $698,000 Private Placement



TORONTO, June 17, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Osprey Gold Corp. ("Osprey") (OTCBB:OSGL) announces the completion of the sale of 2,326,020 common shares of the Company at a price of $0.30 USD per share for proceeds of $697,806 USD. The shares were sold by way of a non-brokered private placement with an offshore investor, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. As a result of the private placement, there will be 106,410,112 outstanding common shares of Osprey.

The proceeds from the private placement will be used by Osprey primarily to carry out drilling work on its Jerome and Lingman Lake properties and for working capital.

Osprey specializes in acquiring and consolidating large advanced exploration-stage properties with near-term production potential and future growth through exploration discoveries. Its acquisition and development emphasis is focused on properties containing gold and other strategic minerals located in Canada. Osprey holds interests in exploration properties located in the province of Ontario.

Osprey's common shares are listed on the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB) under the symbol "OSGL".

Schon über 700000 Stück gehandelt. Für Osprey sehr viel wenn man das Volumen mit den vorherigen Tagen vergleicht

The Company has notified the exchange authorities to immediately delist its shares from the Berlin-Bremen Stock Exchange.
Osprey Gold Corp. has been informed that its stock as well as more than 200 other U.S. publicly trade companies, have been listed and traded on the Berlin-Bremen Stock Exchange without company permission. The financial media recently reported that this may be part of an effort by certain brokers to avoid U.S. restrictions against "naked short selling." Such practices may allow for market manipulation by selling non-existent shares of stock in an effort to force the price down.

Osprey Gold Corp. has sent notice to Friederike von Hofe, an officer at the Berlin-Bremen Stock Exchange that it wishes to be delisted from the exchange. In that regard, the Company asked that the exchange supply the name(s) of the brokerage firm and the firm's officer so that they can be contacted directly and demand delisting from the exchange.

Lese bitte mal genau durch.
1. Osprey macht die Börse Berlin für den Kurzsturz schuldig.
2. Ich habe meine Anteile in Amerika und nicht in Berlin gekauft.
3. Ich werde nicht darauf sitzen bleiben da ich auch wieder in den USA verkaufen werde.
4. Und genau wegen dem UNGERECHTFERTIGTEN KURSTURZ besteht eine RIESENCHANCE.
5. Und jetzt paß auf: OSPREY wird heute sicher 20-30 % machen. Mit Sicherheit!!!  

da ich noch relativ neu im Geschäft bin

der ist doch mehr als mies, und Anfang Mai wurde auch ein riesen Batzen verkauft.

da ist ja sonst nur tote Hose, schlimmer als anderen OTC Werte.

Außerdem ist die news eine schon bereits abgeschlossene Sache, denke mal daher der Kurssturz Ende Mai.

wer sich für diese Aktie interessiert sollte unbedingt den letzten Q10 Report bei www.pinksheets.com von OSGL lesen,ist ja geradezu haarsträubend deren Entstehungsgeschichte,und die Übernahme haben sie durch die Ausgabe von 2 Millionen Aktien finanziert,das Management wird ebenfalls damit bezahlt...und der Accoutant aüssert Zweifel,dass sie weiter bestehen können....
