Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. "Duff Research is an innovative provider of full service mobile app development for some of the world's leading brands and start-ups," PayPal said. Sunnyvale, California-based Duff has shipped more than 40 apps for companies including TiVo Inc. (TIVO : 12.64, -0.1) and Adidas AG. Duff in its web site said its professional backgrounds include both top-tier companies like Apple(AAPL : 430.31, 1.96), Microsoft (MSFT : 27.985, 0.065), Dell (DELL : 14.34, 0.02), and Adobe (ADBE : 41.8, 0.4), as well as high-profile startups like WebTV, Moxi/Digeo, and ZING. Duff offers full service mobile app development across platforms and devices including iPad/iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire and Windows Phone.
