Spannend wird sein, wieviel km der noch zu bewältigenden Strecke für cce durch die Nutzung der geplanten und zu bauenden Wege durchs Gov. abgedeckt sein werden.

Eine spürbare Kostenreduktion wirds sicher werden.

Ob sich weitere Entlastungen durch das - sinngemäß aus dem Quebec-Text zitiert -
Anlocken weiterer Investoren ergeben wird sich zeigen müssen, darf aber erwartet werden.

Spannend wird sein, ob + wann erstmals eine eine konkrete (Termin-) Planung seitens der Regierung vorgelegt wird, die eine Trasse ausweist, mit der man Ashram kostenfreundlich verbinden kann.

Andernfalls leidet ja auch die Aussagekraft der PFS, es sei denn, die Veröffentlichung kommt doch nicht shortly.

MINING AND HYDROCARBON CAPITAL FUND
In the mining sector, financing a project is a major challenge. In its most recent budget, the government confirmed the creation of the Mining and Hydrocarbon Capital Fund to ensure equity investments in mining, oil and gas companies. A $500 million envelope was reserved for the fund for the area covered by the Plan Nord, to be managed by Ressources Québec.
The MERN, the Minister of Finance and the MEIE are jointly developing an investment policy to regulate the Fund’s financial transactions. The policy will be subject to government approval.

Quebec is now ready to add jump in as well with the semi-autonomous Canadian region ready to pul the trigger on its Can$1 billion ($798 million) fund dedicated to buying equity stakes in mining and other natural resources projects reports Bloomberg.

The Economy Minister Jacques Daoust on Wednesday said Quebec's Capital Mines Hydrocarbures may  invest as much as C$200 million in a single project to bring projects into production:

“I have many things in the pipeline,” Daoust told reporters in Montreal. He declined to give details, other than to say talks with “certain mines” are under way.

While Finance Minister Carlos Leitao announced plans for the fund in June, Quebec’s legislature has yet to authorize its creation. Capital Mines Hydrocarbures should be able to support as many as 10 mining projects once it begins operating, Daoust said.

“The raison d’etre of that fund is to make sure that at the end of the day, if the funding is complicated for the last 10 or 20 percent of a project, we will be there,” the minister said. “We can go to C$200 million, but normally we should not invest more than 10 or 15 percent of a project.”

Um den Unternehmen ein Engagement schmackhaft zu machen, möchte sich die Provinz künftig auch mit eigenen Kapitalbeteiligungen in Bergbauprojekten engagieren. Für entsprechende Vorhaben wurde der "Capital Mines Hydrocarbon Fund" aufgelegt und mit 500 Mio. kan$ ausgestattet. Die Beteiligungen sollen ausschließlich für Projekte nördlich des 49. Der halbe Weg von wo ?
Selbst Schefferville ist von Emeril am Highway 389 noch ca. 200 km (Luftlinie!) entfernt und ist z.Zt. überhapt nicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen.
Von Schefferville nach Ashram sind es ca. weitere 150 km Luftlinie.
Es fehlen also ab der Route 389 weitere rd. 350 km Straße (Luftlinie) in einer Gegend ohne Infrastruktur.
Tatsachlich dürften wohl noch mal 100 km draufkommen, also rd. 450 km Straßenlänge.
Über den hohen aufwand bei Straßenbau im Permafrost hatte ich bereits vor längerer Zeit hingewiesen.
