schon mal im Januar gut "prophezeit"!
es war aber auch zu erwarten, dass nach dem Hype so eine Phase kommt.
wer letztes Jahr beim Ausbruch der schrecklichen Pandemie auf Gold gesetzt hat, hat richtig Kohle machen können. Man hat schon letztes Jahr deutlich sehen können, dass nach Ankündigung der ersten Impfstoffe das Interesse in PM / PM Minen zu investieren sehr nachgelassen hat. Daher denke ich auch, dass Barrick erst unter 16€ wieder interessant sein wird, wenn nicht weniger. Nur meine Meinung.

Sehen eher die 15k im dax, als die 25 euro bei dieser vollpfostenbude... Strong sell  

, der gute Elon,   sollte  man positiv über $GOLD twittern,  und ab würde die Luci gehen ...................

Geldentwertung wird weiter wie gehabt vorangehen.....
$Gold oder $ABX   ist eh ein Langfristinvestment , daher die Volatilität ist doch lächerlich.....

TONGON, Côte d’Ivoire, Feb. 04, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- (NYSE:GOLD) (TSX:ABX) Barrick Gold Corporation’s Tongon mine produced a total of 284,863 ounces of gold in 2020, at the top end of its guidance for the year1, driven by strong plant throughput with runtime setting a record of 95.2% in October. This improved throughput, combined with cost-reduction initiatives, is expected to have a positive impact on per ounce costs compared to 2019.

Speaking to local media here today, Barrick president and chief executive Mark Bristow said Tongon had to overcome enormous obstacles to achieve this exceptional performance. Built and commissioned in the midst of a civil war, it has since operated in a very unstable socio-political environment and has been impacted by a broad range of problems, including a mill fire, recurring technical issues and an erratic grid power supply.

“Despite all these challenges, Tongon has been consistently profitable and in 2020 again paid a $150 million dividend to its shareholders. It provided $1.2 million to the government to support its campaign against Covid-19 while implementing effective prevention measures at the mine to protect its people and the business. And it maintained its commitment to its host community with the installation and start-up of a number of income-generating projects,” Bristow said.

He noted that Tongon had the best safety record in the worldwide Barrick group. Until it suffered one Lost-Time Injury on 28 October 2020, the mine had recorded more than 15 million lost-time injury free work hours over 1,120 days. There were no Class 1 or 2 environmental incidents2 during the year and the mine retained its ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.

Continued exploration and the conversion of resources to reserves have extended the life of the mine to 2023 and further opportunities for replacing reserves are being pursued.

In line with Barrick’s policy of supporting local business, Tongon spent $105 million – 66% of its total procurement budget – with Ivorian contractors and suppliers in 2020. Since Tongon poured its first gold in 2010, it has paid more than $1.6 billion into the Ivorian economy in the form of taxes, infrastructure development, salaries and payments to local suppliers.

 

wenn ich hier den Kurs anschaue bekomme ich keine korrelation zum goldpreis... warum fallen die kurse bei barrick? sind hier die GamesStop Kiddies am werk?

beim Edelmetall Gold ....... unter 200 Tageslinie aktuell = bearisch  

1835 $ Marke leider durchbrochen,  dann 1760$ Marke als nächste Unterstützung  ,wenn die nicht hält, dann 1666 $.....darunter sieht es übel aus  

das war heute erst der 384873zigste ausverkauf der em und minen vor dem fulminaten anstieg bis auf 2300$ an der schnur gezogen.....irgendwann muss es ja der letzte gewesen sein, warum nicht heute.....oder vielleicht doch morgen der letzte ??  wir schauen mal......freitag ist immer ein guter gold und minentag  

nur Frage der Zeit wann wieder steigt  , Gold wird auch steigen

Das chinesische Neujahrsfest findet in 8 Tagen statt (12.2.2021), was bedeutet, dass 1,4 Milliarden Chinesen und 1,3 Milliarden Inder all das Gold kaufen werden. Es war schon immer eine Tradition für Asiaten, am Neujahrstag Gold zu kaufen, als Symbol, das Glück und Reichtum bringen soll. Die Nachfrage wird durch die Decke gehen...(..sogar in Amerika und Europa ist die Nachfrage bereits durch die Decke gegangen..).  

Das Chinesische Neujahr und die Hochzeit-Saison in Indien dürften den Goldpreis unterstützen:

Es wird wieder Zeit für die weltgrössten Goldproduzenten Barrick (GOLD) und Newmont Mining (NEM) - beide mit Earnings übernächste Woche......

Die Stimmung hier bei der Aktie und im Forum ist so schlecht, was immer ein guter Nährboden für wieder steigende Kurse ist!
