Important New US Patent Granted for BioSiliconTM
“Smart Drug Delivery”

Global nanotechnology company pSivida Limited (ASX: PSD), is pleased to announce that its UK operating subsidiary pSiMedica Limited has been granted a further patent in the important US market.

US Patent No. 6,666,214 provides for a method of implanting an electronic device within a living animal or human body, wherein the device includes bioactive silicon and a method of delivering a drug to a living animal or human by placing the drug to be delivered on or within a bioactive silicon structure.

The Patent provides an important first step in the development of ‘smart’ drug delivery devices making use of the semi-conductor properties of silicon. pSiMedica is currently advancing development of its partnering strategy and continues to progress discussions with leading electronics and chip technology companies who have all expressed strong interest in the development of such devices.

pSivida Managing Director Gavin Rezos said,” This new US Patent is an important addition to our already strong IP portfolio. The patent will draw further attention in the US to the versatility of the BioSiliconTM technology platform and in particular to large value adding electronics and chip companies looking to develop ‘smart’ devices with potential applications in controlled drug delivery and diagnostics.”

This US patent follows 4 earlier patent grants in the key jurisdictions of the United Kingdom and United States and further strengthens pSiMedica’s healthcare claims for the BioSiliconTM technology.

The pSiMedica Intellectual Property portfolio consists of 17 patent families, 7 granted patents and over 70 patent applications. pSiMedica owns all of the Intellectual Property (royalty free) for the application of BioSiliconTM.

Products protected by patents and patent applications owned by pSiMedica include materials comprising bioactive, resorbable and biocompatible silicon that are of value in the fabrication of new generations of intelligent drug delivery devices, orthopaedic implants and intelligent diagnostic tools.

Ich habe doch gestern so genervt, was habe ich gesagt!!  

nur wegen dir habe ich gestern alles verkauft und bin in Obducat und Psivida eingestiegen!Obducat vorhin verkauft und Psivida KK:0,40 Danke!  

bin rechtzeitig raus aus Obducat, bei 0,39!! HEHE!

denke der Kursverfall hat was  mit der fundamentalen Patent meldung von pSivida zu tun!
pSivida wurde auch in der Januarausgabe von GlobalBiotechInvesting empfohlen!  

Jetzt gzhts bei Psivida los, könnte so ähnlich verlaufen wie Biophan!  

 

Es gibt nicht um die Aktein, die du erwähnst. In denen bin ich auch schon seit zwei Wochen drin!;-) Es gibt einfach darum, dass das andere besagte Board ein ganz anderes Profil als dieses hat! Hier stehen die Zocker im Vorderdrund (das sagen auch schon die Überschriften der Threads). Fände es schade, wenn das andere Forum auch so verkommen würde!

Das Eingangsposting gefällt mir schon mal sehr gut.
Eine Menge verwertbarer Fakten und insgesamt interessant mit einem guten Einblick in die Materie.

Schön finde ich auch, daß es einige Analysten gibt, die sogar mal ein paar Finanzdaten in ihre Empfehlungen mit einflechten.

Ich bin wirklich gespannt, wie sich pSiVida entwickelt.

Kauf 25.000 PSIVIDA (WKN 358 705) zum Kurs von 0,50 Euro in Frankfurt.

Nanotechnologie ist derzeit in aller Munde. DER AKTIONÄR hat die Technologie der Zukunft schon frühzeitig vorgestellt und berichtet regelmäßig über aussichtsreiche Aktien aus diesem Segment. Die australische Psivida wurde bereits in der Titelstory der Ausgabe 03/2004 zu einem Kurs von 0,34 Euro empfohlen. Nach dem jüngsten Höhenflug der Aktionärs-Empfehlung Biophan, die innerhalb kürzester Zeit um mehr als 300 Prozent gestiegen ist, rechnen wir auch bei Psivida mit einer ähnlichen Entwicklung.

Bin zwar nicht gefragt worden, denke aber dass wir nächste Woche entweder die 1Euro Marke schaffen oder knapp dran hängen bleiben!  

Ist kein Problem, antworten kann jeder. Ja ich denke auch die die Aktie stark steigen wird. Ich wünsch mir das. Möchte einmal so richtig geld verdienen. Das wäre dann meine erste schöne erfahrung.
