US remains almost entirely dependent on China rare earths
China's policy of consolidating domestic producers and processors while encouraging exports saw the sole US producer of rare earths Molycorp fall into bankruptcy in July last year. While Australia's Lynas has withered the storm, projects in Greenland, which has the potential to rival China's biggest production centres, Russia, India and elsewhere have struggled to gain traction amid the low price environment.

As a result the US will continue to be beholden to China for more than 90% of its rare earth imports.

warum auch. hat niemand hier behauptet.

das war nur eine weitere zwischenstation von commerce auf seinem vorgezeichneten weg.

an keinem einzigen tag stand der kurs wieder so hoch wie am 23.9.14. (0,26 cad)
ein lupenreiner trend.

erinnern mich gerade mächtig an den dezember 2013.
ist eigentlich nicht mein job, so etwas hier zu verkünden, aber es scheint, als könnte es tatsächlich demnächst eine gegenbewegung bei commerce geben.
sind es nur fake signale oder kündigt sich da wirklich etwas an?

schon seit Jahren... dann geht es wieder rauf und dann wieder runter ... bis dann mal die richtigen und ersehnten Meldungen kommen.

Zeitweise war es oft so in der Anstiegsphase. Auch das wird sich wieder wiederholen.
Umgekehrt war es auch so als der Kurs immer weiter runter ging.
So Ist es mit allen Aktien....diese Elliott-Wellen.

Stastisch geht diese Bude höchst wahrscheinlich den Bach runter.  

 

mehrfach passierte dieses Jahr folgendes:

nach einem Umsatztop gab es halbwegs tauglich trade-bare Kursanstiege

((und das ist noch ohne die heutigen vol.peaks))

 

alle schauen gebannt in Richtung Produktion, die wahrscheinlich nie kommen wird.

hey Leute klärt mich bitte auf, auf was muss commerce Ressource warten das endlich mal was passiert und der kurs nach oben geht?Wir waren doch auch schon über 0,20  

...und die sollte möglichst eine Wirtschaftlichkeit für den Abbau auf Ashram ausweisen.
Aber dafür reicht der cash-Bestand nicht.
Vertrackte Situation.

Rare-earths also constitute an up-and-coming mineral segment in Québec, and companies such as Geomega Resources, Quest Rare Minerals, and Commerce Resources have been able to advance their projects in recent years, aiming to help create a Western counter-poll to China’s dominance in the sector. “Since 2013, and the positive economics we had released in 2012 for our Ashram rare-earth deposit in Nunavik, we have had great metallurgical advancements on several diverent aspects of the project. We have been able to perform a significant amount of drilling, advance our environmental baseline data collection, and continue our talks with the other stakeholders in Nunavik that could benefit from Ashram going into production. Just in October 2015, we released the news of the highest grade rare- earth element concentrate, with the highest recovery rate we have ever achieved (42% total rare earth oxide (TREO), at 76% recovery). Moreover, October 2015 also brought Commerce Resources the e3 Plus Award from the AEMQ, which is presented to the exploration company that best personifies responsible exploration as envisioned by the e3 Plus framework, developed by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). In addition to all of this, Commerce Resources was also able to recently identify fluorite as a by-product at its Ashram site, a discovery which further strengthens the economics of the project,” said Chris Grove, president of Commerce Resources. •
